@e2peep Justin may have passion for drums, but he's not precise or fine in his playing. He continuously plays the same groove, along with the same fills. His technique is mediocre, which prevents him from truly opening up. He's not good enough to be the praised drummer that he is.

He's right on. "chops and "solos" are for drummers give a crap about that stuff in the proper forum. Keyboard players and guitarists have no interest in a drummer that mows over the music with unnecessary fills and such, just like I have no desire to listen to excessive guitar fills and solos.
