  • a higher quality recording than most, infact.. i think this maybe the best as far as David's vocals are concerned.. you can hear the texture of it a lot better here, the delay on his voice comes across nicely (or is it reverb?! - i always get them mixed up, no - i'm sure it's a bit of delay on them vocals)

  • The night the course of music history was changed forever

  • One of my favorite PInk Floyd Tracks, Thanks for sharing.

  • I was there and one ugly guy on stage spit on me! Luckily I sued his ass and I got 1 million pounds!

  • What a fantastic performance of a fantastic song. I wish sometimes I was in the position to sit people like Gilmour and Waters down and try and get them to appreciate just how timeless their music is and just how much it is still loved. Not just by the people who grew up with it, but younger people like me (24) who grew up with it being played on their dads stereos. Perhaps then they would throw aside all the arguments that saw the worlds greatest ever band torn apart. I'd kill to see this live.

  • I borrowed ANIMALS from a friend back in 1999 and this album is fuckin´ fantastic and so does the lyrics as usual, by the way.

  • Great stuff pearljammer07 this material needs to be released....poured down from heaven on unsuspecting floydians....so what's the problem.....Roger and Dave?

Money is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL!

  • "Dragged down by the stone...stone...stone...stone..." Then the inflatable family comes out with the inflatable television set, the inflatable refrigerator that has worms spilling out and the cadillac with the reptiles spilling out from the hood as well. If only we could actually see that.

  • What song did the spit fly in this famous concert that conceived The Wall?

  • @fatdogtavern Pigs (Three different ones)

  • @marmcd2003 watch?v=uBrHjwsEQaQ cuts in at about 6:22 into the video but that's the infamous spit.

  • An aewsome show, but in my mind nothing will ever beat the Oakland 77 show. Even the feedback sounded perfect! If you haven't heard or acquired the show GET IT NOW! Check ebay, its always out there or just downloand it from Limewire or whatever.

  • this was the concert that inspired roger to do the wall

  • our houston show was nuts that year.

due to rain they cut it short so people got

alittle routy at the end there.

as luck would have it, they played here

division bell tour and we got soaked again!

but they played as long as they could through

it. we were all happy just to make it back to our rides

dry off some and go home

  • Amazing song! My Favorite track from Pink Floyd! Thanks!

  • I am 52 now, saw the March 77 Animals WYWH concert twice in London. These lyrics are so relevant.

  • Quality sucks ;/ Is there any good quality concert version od Dogs [exept Waters]? Because it's my favorite song.

  • OH YEAH! MINE TOO! I am a huge Floyd fan, but this is my favorite song!

  • Gilmour, you can count on... he's spot on.

  • it was during pigs on the wing, roger had a go at the croud. They had to restart the song.

  • Are there any Soundboard recordings from the Animals tour?

  • Yes. Good luck asking Rogers for them.

  • how do you know?

  • Roger Waters recordrd all his gigs via soundboard- that way if they did something new or cool or an idea for a new song they'd have it on tape.

  • @jmpetvideo

I've seen Roger three times in italy, the first time he played dogs, the second sheeps and the third pigs...

  • hello dumbfuck!!!!

  • This song is just ace!

  • I was at this concert. all the Canucks had hash. and they wouldn't let the Floyd leave without playing EVERYTHING in their repertie..they carried Rick Wright off the stage exhausted!

  • how long was concert?

  • DOOD; like 4 friggin hours; longest concert i ever attended and i went to alot!! i never saw the infamous spitting incident and dont think it ever happened!

  • oohh for fuck's sake, why I wasn't there, :(:(, it was even longer than led zeppelin's 1975's earls court. I knew just there were around 90 000 people, it's easy possible that in that crowd you couldn't notice this detail, lol.

  • where can i get this bootleg?

  • does smowy white play bass on dogs live or is it roger on bass?

  • It's Roger.

  • animals is by far the best album by the freefour and dogs is the coup-de-grace

  • You, sir, know exactly what you are talking about.

  • weird...I never heard that term in my life haha one of my friends must've posted that. I think umma gumma, saucerful, and meddle are the best, personally

  • why! why do all these vids do this to me! i want to hear the finale of this song live but they all stop half way through with no continuation half of the song is like closing one eye, you only get half the picture (metaphorically) the lyrics and build up are wasted without the culmination of the story somebody fix this

  • The second half of the Dogs from Montreal is with "JJK" listed as 'Pink Floyd - Dogs Part II'...... Perhaps you found it already, not sure? If not enjoy. I know I am about to now!

  • YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH.

  • I love Montréal and I love Pink Floyd very good match ! Yes, this show inspired The Wall !

  • True ! I Guess You've Read the Book From Nick Mason ??

  • the show that inspired the Wall... the Montreal Stadium tower is "cartoonised" by Gerald SCarfe

  • Pink Floyd wrote Pigs

  • This album is overlooked when it came out. Still to this day I don't hear many Floyd fans talking about it. I really enjoy it. The messages in the lyrics still are relevant in todays corporate America.

  • i loved the lyrics..i can really relate to them

    one of there best albums

  • @PearlJammer07 This whole album will always be relevant. My fav Floyd album.

  • @PearlJammer07 One of the greatest albums. Ever. By anyone.

  • @riverdale999 I do not know about the best album by anyone. Still very well made album.

  • @PearlJammer07 I said one of the greatest by anyone - not best by anyone.

  • @PearlJammer07 it was rick wrights favorite album. man im blessed to be born in 77 and got the opportunity to live the music of the great bands at their primes from the late 60's and 70. the greats r gone too soon barrett, wright, mercury, hendrix, lennon, harrison, morrission etc, i really feel sorry for this generation. music/albums back then were art and music was treated as way of life not like today i really feel sorry for this generation.

  • you are a retard

  • Pink Floyd wrote "Sheep"

  • Careful with that axe, Jeremy.

  • perfect song, pink floyd are magic

  • Pink Floyd in 94' Atlanta GA was my first concert ever at 14!!

  • When PF played Madison Square Garden in New York City on 04 July 1977, someone threw a firecracker on stage during Pigs on the Wing, and Roger Waters called out, "You shitbag!". Luckily I was there with a tape recorder.

  • skrtech.seen them . The charterbus brock down on the 401.The cops came and told us don't worry, just grab what you brought and go to the next bus. Great concert. One of the best I have seen.

  • greatest song ever made...best of davids guitar...greatest lyrics...the ultimate epic

  • the closest i ever got 2 see them was seeing roger waters in '06 but it kicked major ass! if he ever tours again im seeing him

  • I saw Roger TWICE 8 years ago and his band did a great job on this song

  • I did nto know that roger or David told Richard or Nock what to do on the Keys and drums, the credits go to Roger and David, of course, but it was a band effort.

  • yeah fucked up how things get credited like that...say roger wrote the lyrics and came up with the concept, and dave did most of the music...and say nick and wright add some things on beats on drums and certain keyboards...yet all credits might have gone to roger or roger and dave (barely considering how roger was starting to act)....yeah not really fair

  • i agree with u to some extent. but when u credit someone for "writing" a song, it means that they wrote the structure of the song and or lyrics. so in some cases fair and others its not.

  • yeah...alot of bands break up because of credit writing. I had a classic rock/reggae band with a friend of mine and my cousin. My cousin was the drummer and practically wrote half of our songs...just simply because ideas flow through him very easily...i often compare him to waters in terms of his ability to come up with tunes quickly..while my buddy and I take more time developing songs and kind of struggle with it...creating a bassline...chords, etc. Yet alot of bands will break up cuz of this.

  • I saw them at the Pontiac Silver Dome, Michigan, they sold it out two nights in a row. It was in the 90's I forget the year. The ticket price was about $35.00 and after the show you felt that should have been a monthly payment for a year. That good!

  • I was there!! I was 18. We drove to Plattsburgh NY and caught a charter bus (complete with an onboard keg) to Montreal. An awesome night - 90,000 people, that's right - 90,000!!!

  • I would give just about anything to see Pink Floyd live. Even more so if they were playing Dogs. Lucky man :)

  • Thanks! Even luckier, I saw 'em again in 94 at RFK in Washington DC!! Waiting for the next (last?) tour!!

  • wow, how i envy u

  • Magic!!!!

  • Waters and Gilmour wrote the song, not the whole band.

  • dont reply hes posted that on hundreds of floyd vids

  • Poor ugly kid

  • I was 19 when i see this show at Olympic Stadium. The sound was horrible with the quadraphonic system. The OS is not a great place for music show. Lots of memories with Animals album.

  • "I am only 21 3/4's but i wanna see some of these concerts see the light of day."

Agreed.i want to see them as well, this is masterpiece, concerts like this happen just once.........

  • pearl jammer, I'm 13, and I COMPLETELY agree with you.

  • Great tune. Stuff like this needs an official release. Concerts from DTSOM,WYWH,Animals,The Wall and early Floyd need to be released officially on CD before all the baby boomer fans die and us younger fans. I am only 21 3/4's but i wanna see some of these concerts see the light of day. Anyone else with me. I know red tape in record industry kinda puts a blocker on these releases.

  • @PearlJammer07 Buy all you want on the internet or download them from many different sources!

  • @PearlJammer07 i'm right with ya there bud, i'm 41 (which is fun)..would love to hear this stuff being released and anything by floyd..ever. i used to live in a basement flat in a old victorian house in south london..floyd, floyd and more floyd.....well maybe also some vintage bowie, lou reed, purple...list goes on, rock on

  • does this part have the actual time when roger spat... i thought it was during 'pigs (three different ones)' ?

  • it was

  • this is SICK!

  • i love pink floyd

  • And now you live here, in this prediction that Roger gave you. Good luck you Frenchman, you Dutchman, You Brit, You American.

It has come here at last. Warned you have been and now you must live it.

  • this performance like the maker said was when roger spit on a fan. by rogers own acclamation, this is when he first thought of the concept of the wall album. great tune

  • i wish i was the guy tht roger spit on.

  • great comment-- two thumbs up to that

  • Jaja I would have conservate the spit HAHA disgusting but funny

  • looooooooooooool. Roger Waters is GOD

  • Oh, for f..k sakes! Stop letting out fireworks and shouting and screaming, I'm trying to sing a song!!!

  • awesome

  • damn that was kick ass !

  • Excellent!

  • I'm loving it.

Great add, the best live performance that I've heard of one the best Pink Floyd's songs.

    Thank you!
