Eastern NC BBQ - whole hog with all the flavor that entails with a vinegar based sauce that enhances the flavor without smothering it.
Western NC BBQ - just the shoulder, usually drowning in a sea of overly sweet ketchuppy sauce. MIght as well be shredded cardboard, most people don't taste the pig anyway.
Man why you guys eat pork. There are so many things in the world to eat. by the way Muslims don't eat pork but they eat goat, cow and deer etc because pork digest it's food within four hours and goat, cow etc digest food with in 24 hours, so pork is so hot and bad for human health.
