Hey badcompany, the 2005 was the last of the 'full power' bikes as far as I know, all the emission regs on the later models stuffed up the engine, I'm not sure if a pipe would cure it or more work? A re-map perhaps. This one was great plenty of low end grunt and revved out well. The yz is quicker but less torquey due to the cam profile. It handled well too but I much prefer 2 strokes which is why I went back to a ktm :-) hope that helps

You're best learning on a slight down hilll slope ride a little above walking pace bound on the seat enough to give you a bit of rebound as the seat comes up 'SQUEEZE' the brake lever till you feel the rear wheel come off the ground and build from there : )

try first on quite a steep hill as your already near the balnce point, ride along in 2nd and just nip in the clutch, just enough to cut drive, keep the revs constant and let the cutch out, the front should just lift now control it on the throttle, if its starts to come up too high nip in the clucth or tap the back brake (harder than it sounds that) and there you are your wheelieing.
