there's no shame in living in the woods...that's how most people have lived untill the last 100 years...you're in NYC...it's easy to make a living pulling dents in supermarket parking lots (I know because that's what I do for a living) (yes, I'm a Gypsy)...use that money to secure building materials and build a small solar powered cabin for just a few thousand dollars...I am doing this by choice to free myself from mortgage, taxes, and the corporation...shame is all in your mind

3 You will see that there is a tuk tuk camper that should care for most of your needs you will have to figure out how to get a bath but I have heated water in my kitchen using alcohol stove camp stove just to stay in practice for when I might have to do this very thing. search for off grid shower, you will see many ways to heat water, fire , solar, compost water heating is the most ingenous, all your answers are right here on YT and doing net searches cruising the pix for your search

2 So the bank not lending the $ caused me to save my $ to pay off my land my plan was to then save to buy the kit dome home have it errected then save my money to make it a home. I lost my ability to work havent gotten pay in over a year I rely on my wife until my disability starts. We became debt free trying to build the home we want. 1 I own my home 100% bc the banks refused to lend me $ to build a concrete dome home. I was going to get an AI kit dome and found the banks would not lend for them. My theory is the homes are too perfect gogle MDI dome you will be able to read all about them. Living in Yurts is NOT homeless. Its an alternative lifestyle for sure, but not homeless. Some cultures still live primary in such tent like structures. All of us have ancestors who lived like this, and all of the early pioneers lived like this. Its not so bad as all that.

I'm very fortunate, I have a house...but strangely I'm selling up to buy land where I can set up a self sufficient community in the woods...I guess it ain't so tough if you do this willingly, but I would prefer to be like that than a prisoner in a building half owed by the bank...do you trust the bank or the trees?

A few years ago when I went to the philippines I stayed a short while with local people who lived the old ways "Fire wood for warmth and food, growing and hunting your own food, ect" and I tell you I was more happier there living in poor conditions rather then in the USA living in luxious condition. I had to wait @ 7am till they opened cause a line forms but I bought a whole bunch of blankets for 1$ each & delivered the to homeless people. Our economy today is tough. Through the military, I have trained my self to be self sustaining. I am used to living in the woods. Making shelter out of logs and leaves and trapping whatever food I need. More people need to prepare themselves for the worse in case it happens, and it has happeened to far too many.
