Perhaps she stopped because she could feel her voice getting huskier and huskier as she sung, and it may have pushed her voice a little too far to peak it. Even pros get colds and sore throats etc. Getting the audience to sing a chorus is a common way of preventing strain when ones throat is tender. She is a complete legend, full respect and love to you Joss.
