  • how can I get some drum beats like this so I can play along too ?

  • @tommyaw123

    thank you for comment!

This drum beat is a feature of the M-Audio BlackBox

  • Not the most EXITing cover ever?? haha.. But I agree. Not very EXCITING at all. Very lackluster and unimpressive. The rhythm is all wrong and lazy.

  • @DeclanTKatt

Thank you for your valuable opinions!

  • @kusaka2580

If you're interested, here's some more:

    1) Try slowing it down a tad.

    2) Hammer the F# root on the 6-string up from an open E during the verses. You're kinda doing it on the F# octave, but hammering on the ROOT is really going to give it more of that drive you're currently missing.

    3) In the choruses, try using less barre chords and more open chords (C#m is fine barred). The D-chord should have an open 1-string, and the A-chord should have an open 2-string (and 1-string).

  • @DeclanTKatt

I think next time you want to do the exact covering

    Thank you!

  • @DeclanTKatt Actually, Johnny Marr hammers on the upper octave, not the root cause he uses a capo in 2nd fret.

  • there are nice effects on it wasnt trying to be a dick by the way man just some helpful criticism ;) you are good tho

  • not the most exiting cover ever
