  • piratebay...TROLLGODS

  • ...That was hilarious -.-

  • Lol jk....maybe -_- and it's funny how you laugh through out the video, your laugh is awesome ande highly amusing :D

  • Is this you reading.....your voice is hot....

  • Stop loling you bitch.

  • if it wasn't for the tpb isohunt any many others we would be damned lol .

  • u're amazing

  • SEGA = Fags

  • fucking awesome

  • WOMAN! I love your laugh!

  • Is this you reading this youself? your laugh is amazigly infectious *^^*

  • @DsHokage3D, I do undersand it very well and I do it all the time. The last ten years I bought less than 5% of the music, film, app and games i wanted. The rest I took down from TPB or other places. I will never ever respect copyright laws. Copyright laws support some people to able to force other people not to mimic them. No resonable people want such a society. Just because it's hard to live off IP doesn't mean you've got ethic right to use force (via Gov't) against other people.

  • @chaosjimjam umad?

  • @DsHokage3D, only because Porsche will not be able to produce cars with as high quality as of today when it in the future will be possible to copy such a car into as many duplicates one wants doesn't mean Porsche got any ethical rights, in reasonable sense, to use force to stop me running my copying machine even if a choose to compete in the marked with these cloned cars.

You are obviously brain washed by morons who are using the economic argument (failed such) to eliminate my personal freedom.

  • @Vocalallusive

If you make a brilliant idea like a new phone or something do you really want me to copy your idea and give away all phones for free so you wont sell any phones?

  • @DsHokage3D, no, I would hate it, but for no other reason than it would be harder to earn enough money to be living on a vacation for the rest of my life gulping down unbrella drinks. My anger against competition doesn't give me any ethical rights (when those are inside reason) to use force to prevent others from mimic what I do,

BTW, did you know appeals to emotion are invalid arguments in the class fallacies{}?

  • @Vocalallusive

I don't understand why people download things for free when the rightful owners of the media should have something in return not just shit and people telling them that they are greedy bastards

  • @DsHokage3D Would you want to pay $60+ for a garbage game? Take it to gamestop to sell it and they're like "We'll give you $2". then your pretty much stuck with it. They want to much for these Audio CDs, DVDs, Blu-Rays, etc.

if they brought the price down to say $5.00 - $10.00, Maybe $20 for games that come with accessories like guitar hero, My DVD shelves would probably be packed. If they didn't try to make a billion of a movie, it'd much easier to buy the movie.

  • @funkymunky65

if it's garbage why would you want it then?

  • @DsHokage3D Because, If you see the commercials, they're like "This is the best game eva!" your like "okay, I'll buy" you get the game and it lasts maybe an hour.

and every time you read the reviews, the retards writing it NEVER EVER make the game look bad! trust me, I've bought multiple games in the past and they were complete garbage! I do buy games retail, as long as I like them, if there is a demo available, then I'll download it.

  • Cheap bastards give the creators some credits for what the have created. If piracy would be legal the media industry would die or at least the quality won't be as high since the ones making the products won't get as mutch money

  • @DsHokage3D Who cares?

  • piratybay is for cheap poor bastards who can't afford to buy the cd's movies or what ever in the store it's just sick. Just get a job

  • @DsHokage3D umadbro?

  • @DsHokage3D In this economic state? most people are worried if they're next to get fired! the only reason we are in the economic state is because greedy asses are sitting on the country's wealth!

  • @funkymunky65

well if you are having problems with your economy you should probably not buy any media in the first place

  • @DsHokage3D I don't buy media, but I do get all the latest movies and games :-)

  • @funkymunky65

so you are expecting other people to pay for it so that you can keep getting things for free? If everyone started to download media instead of paying for it media will die since the companies wont earn any money.

  • @DsHokage3D Oh well, maybe they shouldn't want $60+ for a simple $0.10 CD/DVD. By the way, i seen what you posted on my account, to let you know, just about every one I know downloads their Movies/Games/Audio from the internet.

I love P2P, and there's no way to shut it down, unless they make illegal, which I don't see happening anytime soon.

  • @funkymunky65

I don't think piracy is wrong the thing is that some people takes advantage of that some people pay for their cd's and stuff. The guys from pirate bay are in jail now and the money they got that made them able to start the site came from people who supported racism. Yeah the prices are a bit to high but I don't want to disrespect to creators by downloading it. I can understand you by some points but don't you agree that everyone should download or noone

  • @DsHokage3D I only download games to test them, if i like them, then i will buy the legit disc. I use pirate bay as a way to prevent myself from being ripped off. most of the games i download aren't even supported anymore. (PlayStation 1, Xbox Orginal, older PC Games, etc.) sometimes pirate bay doesn't have the game i want! so i have to go to sites like doperoms(.)com I downloaded borderlands, the next day I bought the legit disc, because i liked it very much.

  • @funkymunky65

Yeah I have also done that but the thing is that I sometimes ended up not buying the game... I think it's ok to download if you can't find what you are looking for but not if you just simply don't want to pay for it.

  • @DsHokage3D I usually pay for a game, just so i can have online play.

  • Has anyone seen STEAL THIS FILM?

  • @TearsOfWar1 Yea, that was helpful for me, i did not know you where able to download films online, good tip!

  • @ArousingAdmiration

    cheap bastard

  • @TearsOfWar1

I think I have. It makes a good point

  • The only good thing about sega is the Sega Megadrive!!! WOO!!!

  • The Pirate Bay > Anything else on the web.

  • TGB IS DOWN D:

  • lmao i love when your laughing at it XD

  • lol i hope this website wont close :D

  • If you like this video, vote Pirate Party, there active in over 20 countries!!!, To find out more go to wikipedia and search Pirate Party

  • Your voice makes me giggle to myself when you're making fun of the companies.

  • Governments,Companies, etc should use the butloads of money and resources they use to improve they're own ppl lives instead of wasting their money on trying to take down sites like TPB down!

  • the girl sayd that TPB servers are in Sweden and not in UK so if Sega want to charge them they should look up the Swedish laws and not come there with uk laws

  • Couldn't understand a word due to the annoying laughter.

  • laughing through it made it bad, defo

  • cut out the laughter track bitch

  • @phastasm

    GO SUCK A DICK

  • @SuperSnarfy aw i hurt your wittle feelings

  • i wanna buy all the games and movies legal but im out of money and in kosovo you cant get such games like half-life 2 cause no one here knows half-life 2 damn

  • Who wrote the message that she is reading out in the video?

  • I just dont hear what that chick is saying... =/

  • Trying to take down sites like TPB and other torrent sites is pointless. more will be made for everyone lost, taking them down is just more motivation for those who put them up.

  • Long live TPB,big hairy bollocks to overpriced media content an fat corporate oinks.

  • Supporting.

  • They close the doors at Pirate Bay. I'm so upset i can not write. I will remember this site and people within who resist with bravery against corporations such a long time.

  • good news! the pirate bay is back online after 1 day of downtime

  • it is back again

  • lmao!!

  • But I'm through arguing with you. You vote for your Pirate Party and have your freedom, just don't cry like little babies when in 5 years time, your country is burning around you. Wake up and look at almost every other country in the EU who are doing something about the problem that they have. Only you seem to be ignorant enough to pretend that it'll never happen to your country.

  • Never make the mistake of thinking it won't happen to you. Sooner or later it would. Would you have thought 10 years ago that you would have any problem with muslims in the future, or have mosques and rioting? /watch?v=RSnk-YdRMHs

  • In that case, why not campaign to have it changed so they can only monitor people suspected of criminal activity like here in the UK. Why try to ban in completely and pass on the chance to have a valuable tool to use against terrorism.

  • Terrorism?

Not a single terrorist has been caught since the law came into effect.

Besides, how many terrorist attacks have there been in Sweden?

I can think of two, and the targets of these attacks were not even Swedish.

The first one was in 1908, 3 unemployed workers attacked the ship "Amalthea" were British strikebreakers were living.

The second was the West German Embassy Siege in 1975 by the Red Army Faction.

When it comes to terrorism Sweden is a pretty unlikely target.

  • Besides, how many terrorist attacks have there been in Sweden?

How many terror attacks were there in the US 10 years ago? Incase you haven't noticed, wherever the muslims go, the terror attacks follow at some point afterwards. The terrorism will start in Sweden once the people get to the point where they have had enough of the muslim population. Spain has been targeted several times, you think they were a likely target? You going to wait for people to start getting blown up?

  • Sooner or later, you will start to get Islamic attacks in Sweden once you try to stop their takeover of your country, radical muslim groups will form and the result will be terrorism. Then you'll all run around like headless chickens because you have no information on them and no way to track them.

  • "because you have no information on them and no way to track them. "

We won't anyway, terrorists will hardly be planning their attacks over unencrypted emails.

Besides not all terrorist attacks requires a lot of planning, hijacking airplanes and flying them into buildings requires planning.

But there's also simpler things which could be carried out by a single person.

  • "terrorists will hardly be planning their attacks over unencrypted emails" Oh really ,that's exactly what they did in the UK. And besides you think the authorities don't have resources to decrypt emails?

"But there's also simpler things which could be carried out by a single person" - yeah like the lone person caught in the UK recently about to blow himself up. He had been on sites with material on how to build bombs and sought advice. Where do you they gain this knowledge? In school?

  • "How many terror attacks were there in the US 10 years ago? "

Well there was the WTC bombings in 1993 plus there has been quite a few cases of domestic terrorism.

"you think they were a likely target?"

Actually yes. They had troops in Iraq, they have troops in Afghanistan, they are a NATO member and they also have domestic terrorist organizations (ETA).

Islam has been present in Spain for a very long time.

  • You think they give a toss if you have troops in Iraq. They see themselves on a divine crusade to enforce their religion on the West. Anyone who stands in the way will get the same treatment. And now you have exactly the same problem with Islam, but are sleeping walking into the same situation. If you don't wake up and do something about it, don't come crying at the EU when it happens to you.

  • Of course they care.

The fact that there are American bases in some middle eastern states was one of the reasons Al Qaeda attacked the WTC.

Al Qaeda didn't do it because of American's freedom, they did it because of their foreign policies.

"They see themselves on a divine crusade to enforce their religion on the West"

Yes SOME do, but it's far from all.

Not all muslims are terrorists, and not all terrorists are muslims.

  • There's no shortage of Christian fanatics either, they may not blow themselves up but they are fanatics none the less.

  • Not all muslims are terrorists, and not all terrorists are muslims? What is that supposed to mean in relation to this. Sure, they won't all blow themselves up, but be sure they will set fire to your cities, rob your houses, attack people in the streets and create no go areas, as they are already doing. It's just that it will be much worse than it already is. Do you find the Christian fanatics doing that? But still who cares when you have the pirate party to save your country.

  • Here's your future.

    /watch?v=DnZNpueA64k

And you know what, when they spill over from your shores and head towards ours the EU will turn around and say, well you saw the problem coming and did nothing about it, now we are having to pay the price for your blindness. And Sweden will be a pariah nation, and will no doubt continue to ramble about the pirate party long after all the other nations wish you were nowhere near us.

  • Why are you talking about the EU?

The EU is not against muslim immigration , in fact from what I hear the EU wants to increase it.

  • Ok, you carry on believing what you want to believe. Put muslim and and country in the EU in the search and see where it gets you. Have fun losing your country. Still once it arrives on your doorstep, you'll change your mind, shame it will be too late. I wish you luck.

  • "Have fun losing your country. "

    You too.

", shame it will be too late"

    Too late for what?

    Concentration camps?

  • Concentration camps? Lol, a very very cheap shot and to be honest it doesn't suprise me. After all, anyone who speaks out against muslims must be a boot wearing Nazi who supports Hitler and gas chambers right? It's that view that has allowed Europe to get into the state it is currently in.

  • That depends on whether they speak out against muslim extremists or all muslims.

There are muslims fighting alongside the coalition forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, there were muslims who fought for the entante and the allies during WWI and WWII as well. Do you hate those muslims as well?

And at least in Sweden there are immigrants from muslim nations who are against mass immigration.

  • Well with the pirate party vote dropping by 1/3 and the far right gaining votes, I'd say people in your country were starting to agree with me, that filesharing isn't such a big issue after all and that there are more important things to worry about.

Do I hate the muslims who fight for us, nope. If you read by bio you would know this, but that doesn't detract from the argument. There were germans working for the british during the war, didn't mean lots of germans were planning to take over

  • As I have mentioned several times the pirate party is not only about file sharing, it's about integrity.

And 2.9% is not at all bad when you consider the fact that the pirate party has only been around since 2006 and it only focuses on a few questions. They "only" got 0.63% in the last election, not bad either since the party was formed just a few months earlier.

While SD has been around since 1988 and has an entire party program.

  • 2.9% IS bad, especially when they've just lost 1/3 of their vote. It doesn't look like the hallmarks of a party on the up does it? And 0.63% in an election is BAD, no matter when you've formed. that's 1 in every 180 people or so who voted for them.

  • It's not bad.

If they get 2.9% in the 2010 election it is still 2.27% more than they got in the last election.

And 0.63% is not bad, there's parties that have existed for years that have not even come close to 0.63% of the votes.

And this was before there were any laws such as the FRA law and many people probably had no idea that the pirate party even existed.

The Sweden Democrats only got around 1200 votes in their first election, which was in 1988 the year the party was founded.

  • Besides this was just a poll, the result of the real election will probably be quite different since it's still a little more than one year until the next election.

Chances are both the pirate party and the Sweden Democrats will get into the parliament next year.

  • Well that's certainly not what those poll results suggest is it. But you can always live in false hope.

  • The point being they are losing votes rapidly. A sure sign of a dying party. The SD are at an all time high, a sure sign of a rising force. That is despite being the SD from being banned from certain publications etc ....

  • So the anti-muslim SD are at an all time high in the polls, while the pirate party has just lost 1/3 of it's votes. Who would you say was on the up?

  • And you're still trying to tell me that filesharing and 'integrity' is more important to the Swedish people?

  • They are not anti-muslims, they support freedom of religion.

They are against immigrants who misbehave.

They are against mass immigration but not immigrants or reasonable levels of immigration.

Basically as long as you behave it won't matter that much if you worship Allah or the Flying spaghetti monster, or whatever people wish to worship.

  • Please, now you're embarassing yourself. Everyone knows the reason for their support is the muslim wave sweeping Sweden. Of course if you can find me information proving me wrong, please go ahead. I can find you thousands of articles about the party commenting on Islam, how many can you provide about other immigrants who are non muslims and the SD. How come the SD waded in on the Mohammed cartoon row in Denmark and every single article about the SD involves Islam.

  • And the Sweden Democrats don't see themselves as right or left.

It's a little of both I guess seeing as they also draw inspiration from Per Albin Hansson (social democrat) "people's home" idea from 1928.

  • There's a video here on youtube of an interview with a 63 year old shoemaker from Turkey, he has been living in Rosengård in Malmö for 40 years but now he's considering moving back to Turkey.

The problem in Sweden is that we have taken in too many in a rather short period of time. Many of them have no jobs and they are largely concentrated to certain parts of Sweden.

  • How co-incidental it's the same all over Europe. And it's always the muslims. Hmmmm.

  • Too late for what? To stop your country being Islamified. Once they reach a certain population, they will vote in their own politicians, allow all their cousins into your country, implement sharia law and your country will bear no resemblance to the peaceful place it once was. And it will be too late for you to do anything about it because you won't have the numbers to vote anyone back in.

  • The far right Sweden Democrats ave increased their support to a record 5.6% according to a new voter poll published on Thursday. The Pirate party, fresh from it's success in the EU elections, has however fallen 1.3% to 2.9% support. According to the poll by united minds and cint which was published in the Aftonbladet newspaper. So by my reckoning twice as many people voted for the far right than the pirate party. Seems some of you are waking up after all. Just not you.

  • Ahahaa, do you dress as Stalin at home and parade around spouting communist bollocks? STFU and stop pretending you're on some kind of political crusade. And as for -" When one falls, another shall come to replace them.", the industry will love that, another for them to sue and send to jail.

  • The revolution shall reign triumphant! Crush the kulaks forever!

We shall infiltrate the government one at a time and then bring the full force of it down on their heads.

  • After many drama-filled turbulent years, Peter Sunde, the infamous Pirate Bay spokesman, has resigned. Citing a complete lack of time, Peter says he wants to concentrate on new things, including several projects and a book. I am leaving a role in order to be a person instead, - Lol, one by one they shall fall. Looks like he chose to get out before he got even more fines and jail time. A victory for the corporations who shall be laughing their asses off now.

  • When one falls, another shall come to replace them. Just like communism, whenever one comrade dies another will come to replace him.

  • And one last thing, how long do you think good movies will be made. By your logic I could setup a website and get say 1 millions users who each contribute 1 cent. With the 100,000 dollars I buy 1 copy of every movie on the market and we all share them. So the movie companies makes around 30 dollars on each movie. How good are future movies going to be. No-one is going to invest any money whatsoever in making a movie. Then you'll all be watching black and white movies on TV and whining

  • Don't spoil it for them. Thieves will always have an excuse to justify their stealing. But I like the way this bitch laughs as she reads out the 'no copyright laws have been broken' part. They obviously got jailed for having bad breath then. The best part is they are now grovelling to the same legal system they took the piss out of in a pathetic attempt to stay out of jail. That takes a special kind of gimpery.

  • And to all those who complain about DRM and copy protection - it's you who brought it about. Before piracy and illegal sharing, there was no DRM, no copyprotection of any kind. It's you who have created the monster. The more you copy, the worse it will get, and you'll only have yourselves to blame.

  • Ok Kesse, no you are not guilty of bank robbery, but you are guilty of aiding and abetting someone to break the law. Which is what the pirate bay were jailed for, aiding and abetting others to breach copyright laws.

  • The funny thing is that Sweden is being taken over by Muslims, and people are voting for the Pirate party. Still, once you're all living under Sharia law and wearing hijabs, you'll still have your free movies to watch, at least until the Sharia courts chop your hands off. Fucking idiots.

  • But the real irony is that they treated the law with total contempt and are now grovelling to the law courts to help them out. Fucking excellent. A joy to behold.

  • But I hope it drags on as long as possible. I'm sure the guys at Sega are thoroughly enjoying watching them grovel their way through the appeal courts.

  • Three israelis? Lol, only because they are used to being beaten with rubber hoses everynight in their prisons. Anything would seem like a hotel in comparison to that. They will still get the door slammed and locked on them everynight and have to eat prison food while the guys at sega are out on the town drinking wine and smoking cigars. Their appeal has already been turned down by the Swedish courts as you obviously didn't know. It's not looking good for them is it.

  • Sure they will have to eat prison food, but that shouldn't bother anyone.

Like everyone else they have gone to school at one point in their life, and the food being served in our schools is hardly better than the prison food. From what I hear the prison food might actually be better.

  • Swedish prisons are quite well known to be more or less like hotels compared to prisons in many other nations.

Even outside of Sweden it seems, since for example Saddam Hussein wanted to spend his time before his trial in a Swedish prison.

  • The only thing that has been turned down was their appeal for a retrial in a district court.

The judge in the trial was a member of a number of organizations for example the Swedish Copyright Association.

Together with Peter Danowsky, Henrik Pontén and Monique Wadsted all of whom represented the entertainment industry in this case.

He is also member of an organization which advocates even stricter copyright laws.

  • The judge Tomas Norström was however found not to be guilty of bias by the court.

Which is odd seeing as just a few days before the trial started a layman was dismissed (by Norström) because that layman was a member of a group that among other things works to protect copyright, this was considered a conflict of interest.

  • Although it's not that odd.

Because it seems that one of the people who were to decide if Norström was biased or not may have been biased himself.

His name is Anders Eka and he too is a member of organizations together with for example Monique Wasted, Peter Danowsky, Jan Rosén (assistant to Monique in the TPB-case and also the chairman for the swedish organisation for copyright)

  • If the prisons in Sweden are as pleasant as you make out, why are they publicly groveling to the law to keep themselves out of prison? Of course, all Swedish judges are biased against the pirate bay, the moon landing didn't happen and 911 was an inside job. They are spoilt children playing childs games in a grown up world and are about to pay the price for it. Who'll be laughing when the cell door slams, I think it'll be the guys at Sega, not the pirate bay gimps.

  • And once they get out of jail, they'll still be those sell out gimps who after all the big talk, bowed down and sold out to the corporations.

  • That's pretty obvious, they do not consider themselves guilty of anything. They run a site that doesn't actually host any files.

Before the verdict basically no one thought they would be found guilty, and it wasn't just regular people but experts.

And if a layman is considered biased for being a member of one pro-copyright organization then obviously the judge should also be considered biased if he is a member of several such groups himself.

  • Okay, so for example a directory site containing purely links to child pornography, or a site called 'blow up the infidels' linking to sites showing terrorists how to make bombs would be fine with you as they don't actually host the content themselves? Bollocks, it's called assisting someone to commit a crime, the same as driving the getaway car to a bank robbery. You don't have to go in and hold the gun to the cashiers face to be charged with robbery.

  • The pirate bay was setup with one purpose, to assist people to break copyright laws by downloading copyrighted material for free, hence why it was called the pirate bay oddly enough, because it's for people who pirate things. Assisting someone to break the law is a criminal offence and that's why they are going to jail. What is so hard for you to understand about that?

  • Nope, the purpose of the site is to share files. There is nothing that says it has to be copyrighted material.

And the fact is that there's plenty of stuff on there that is not copyrighted.

Like many other things in life the site can be used for both legal and illegal purposes.

For example guns can also be used both legally and illegally, even though guns were created to kill humans.

  • Wrong again. That's why it's called the pirate bay, because they are setup to deliver pirated material. And your gun comparison is completely ridiculous, it's like having a gun shop called 'the gun murderers post' with both Illegal and legal weapons. Do you think a gun shop would get away with saying to customers who asked to buy an illegal weapon to kill someone, we don't sell them but I'll give you the address of a guy who does.

  • Another difference with the pirate bay is that they refuse to take down copyrighted torrents unlike other sites like mininova who will remove torrents to copyrighted material when asked to do so. So they are happy to have the illegal torrent, in fact they would have no site without them, hence why they sold out lilke gimps recently after all their big talk. Anyone who believes anything the traitor bay say now are clearly gimps.

  • And just incase you didn't know this is the dicitonary definition of piracy - Piracy is the unauthorized duplication of an original recording without the consent of the rights owner. So by their own definition, they are setup for people who pirate material. And you say they weren't setup to share copyrighted material. I suppose they called themselves the pirate bay because they like sailing the high seas looking for treasure. Do me a favour.

  • Yeah Mininova removes torrents when asked.

But they are just as happy to have torrents of copyrighted material as the pirate bay.

The torrents that are taken down make up like what, a few percent of the total number of copyrighted torrents?

And if it's popular the torrent will be uploaded again pretty quick, actually if it's a popular game for example there will be more than just one torrent anyway.

  • Had they been able to come up with a way to remove all torrents that links to copyrighted material and make sure it never gets uploaded again it would have been the end of MiniNova.

And if there was a way to take down all copyrighted material from YouTube this site would have been pretty dead as well.

  • There's plenty of sites that remove stuff when asked, but there's virtually no sites which are actively trying to fight copyright infringement unless they are asked.

These sites are merely trying to protect themselves from lawsuits.

  • So if someone was offering you millions of dollars you'd say no? Oh please..

No one will pay for TPB due to that fact that it's rubbish. I'd gladly pay for an invitation based torrent site though.

  • If they were planning to sell out, why give all the 'oh we'll never sell out no matter how much we're offered' bullshit. After all the big talk, they did exactly what they promised they would never do, which makes them hypocrital sell-out gimps. Which is why their own community has turned against them, read the comments on their blog.

  • No, the site was not set up to strictly share copyrighted files. It was set up so that users could share files freely, and if it's copyrighted material or not is up to the users to decide.

And as said guns were created with the purpose of killing other humans, they were not invented for targeting practice and they were not invented for hunting animals.

Guns were created to kill humans, that is what they are for, and while killing is illegal it is not illegal to own guns in all nations.

  • Pioneer should go to jail. It is a well known fact that cd and dvd burners are used mostly for piracy, but they still sell it nonetheless.

Google should also go to jail, I can find torrent files from it! Quite easily as well.

  • You are a bell-end. The pirate bay was setup deliberately to assist people to share copyrighted material Illegally, the others weren't. The pirate bay exists for no other reason. If I find a name in a phone book and go and rob their house is the phone book to blame ? nope, however if someone creates a directory called 'the directory of people who are away on holiday so you can rob them' and I go and rob a house i found in there, then the creators of the directory are to blame.

  • The point being that I can find the names in both directories, but only the one that is deliberately setup to help me steal is at fault.

  • Question for Straightfromcompton1:

If I design a jailhouse in such a way that inmates can escape and I make em also aware how they can escape (although it is obvious) and if they rob a bank after escaping, am I in that case also guilty of bankrobbery????

You might blame me, but I am sure you can't convict me....

I wonder when the first lawsuit against Microsoft is going to be filed, their Internet explorer is making it possible to participate in illigal activities........

  • 1. Google search engines can find torrents.

2, Google is not liable for the upload of torrents.

If people wish to share it raises questions about the music industries willingness to adapt to downloading.

If they don't adapt, will the business market leave them behind?

If they fail, as they appear to be failing, then other companies will run the music industry out of profit.

You must follow the wishes of the consumer.

  • To Sallyan. Let me give you a metaphor -

If I create a phone book ( Google ) and someone uses it to find someone home alone and rapes them, am I to blame? Nope. However if I create a phone book with just single woman who are home alone called 'the rapists handbook' am I guilty if someone finds someone through my phonebook. Yep. Even though I could find the same name in both books, it's the intent behind it that dictates the guilt.

  • Funny, the EXACT same thing could be said about dvd burners, as their legitimate use is overshadowed by millions of people illicitly using it for file sharing and such!

Also, cry me a river. Your business model is dead, evolve or die with it. Nothing will change that fact. As much as you struggle, unless you simply shut down the internet (lol good luck with that), it will NEVER stop, only get stronger with time as the next generation will always be more pc knowledgeable than the last.

  • You are dead wrong there. If DVD manufacturers had links to software which deliberately removed copy protection you may have a point, but as they don't, your point is bollocks. TPB was setup for 1 reason, to assist people to break copyright laws, no other. The fact is that the fightback is just starting, until now nothing was really being done. Over the last few months the pirate bay has been jailed, mininova now removes torrents, and many people have been sued. This is just the beginning.

  • And if you hadn't noticed, more and more games are played online only, with a montly fee. Lets see you Pirate those dickwad. As soon as everygame becomes like WoW or Lotro, your filesharing of games is over my friend.

  • I'm not sure if you do realize, but when big sites die, people flock to the next best thing, making those grow in size and effectively replacing what was lost.

Guess where every TPB orfan is right now? Either in demonoid or in one of the thousands of private torrent trackers. ANd there are other alternatives as well for the more internet savvy like myself.

Your "beginning" started a long time ago, and all it did was promote further P2P to people who didn't even had a clue about it.

  • Yep, thieves will always move to a new town once there is nothing to steal where they are any longer. However, what you've missed is that now people are getting banned from using the internet in certain countries, including the UK for filesharing, it's no longer the free ride it once was. Once more people start getting banned, they'll soon be crying. Once the internet was a free for all for paedophile and other low life, now it isn't. The shame will happen for filesharing.

  • You've had your time and it will last a short while longer. But make the most of it because the sword is going to come down on you sooner than you think. It's thanks to gimps like you that DRM exists and the people who actually pay for games etc have to put up with it because of leeching gypsies like you. Oh, and if decent people don't actually buy games, there would be nothing for you low lifes like yourself to steal as no-one would make them.

  • And I don't know if you'd noticed, but more and more games are getting subscpition based such as WoW, Lotro, Eve etc. How are you going to download these illegally? You're not. Once all games become like this, your free ride is over.

  • And funny thing? I DO buy games, when they are fairly priced. I bought probably more games in Steam than you have - that's how you adapt your business to the future, so you keep crying an ocean there.

Also, most pirates have no qualms on buying games, that is what YOUR industry likes to spew out of their arses! What we refuse to do is pay big bucks for crap games.

Hell, every blizzard game I own is original! Reason? IT'S FUCKING WORTH EVERY GODDAMN PENNY!

  • "What we refuse to do is pay big bucks for crap games" ,

Lol, then don't buy them. If they are that 'crap' why would you bother to pirate them. Unless of course you like to waste your time playing 'crap' games when you have all those great games you've paid for. I can smell your shit again.

  • Take a look at your pants, I guess that's where the smell is coming from.

Now, don't get me wrong, even a crap game can be amusing for, oh, I don't know, 2 or 3 play sessions.

But does it make it worth $60? Fuck, no!

Also, if your answer is "lol dont buy them", you don't really care about us being potential consumers, so why do you even care?

Also, piracy is a way of rebelling. Apparently it's working since we pissed you off.

  • It hasn't pissed me off at all. In fact our conversations have quite amused me when I've had bit of downtime at work.

But you say a crap game can be amusing for 2 or 3 play sessions. How about the demo versions then. You normally get a good few hours out of those, why pirate it. Even the little shareware games have a trial which you can amuse yourself with for a while. But even those are all over the torrent site having been cracked. And those are doing by indy game devs scratching a living

  • But you know the really funny thing is, I've probably got more pirated stuff that all you put together. I've got Adobe CS3 master collection, loads of games by Skullpultura, Microsoft Visual Studio on at the moment, all pirated. And I don't think I've ever paid for a single MP3 I've ever had. And a bigger Divx collection that I can shake a stick at. But you know what, I don't blame the manufacturers for being pissed off. Suprised?

  • But it really has been fun. Seriously though, how do you think I knew about all the torrent sites and how the pirating thing worked? I've been pirating for 10 years. But I've enjoyed it. Especially when someone said I worked for the RIAA lol. I hadn't even heard of them, I had to Google it to find out. But I still think the pirate bay are sell out gimps and that there are better things to worry about than file sharing being legal. Oh well back to playing my cracked copy of Anno 1404.

  • Yes, I did noticed these games are subscription based, but saying that ALL games are going to be like this is nonsense! And besides there is always going to be a method in playing them for free. Take WoW for example: There are cracked servers online out there. If you don't believe me then check it out on thepiratebay.

  • Yeah, I know there are pirate servers. but who want's to play Wow when your character could be deleted at anytime, or the pirate server where it is hosted shut down? No many. Can you imagine building a character for 6 months, and then you wake up one morning and its gone. Forever.

  • That, and the fact that out of every lawsuit we get free propaganda regarding P2P will make us win in the end.

Also, even China can't censor the internet for everyone - what makes you think that democratic european countries will suceed? Even if they DO instate a ban, it will be bypassed quickly by most users - and mouth to mouth will go a long way here.

Sorry, but you are doomed here. Piracy came to stay, learn to ride the wave or drown.

Also, the RIAA itself said DRM is dead, so lol at you.

  • Mate, they've attempted to bring down the sword but it still continues. Torrents will continue forever more so just accept it.

And to clear something up, I don't use torrents. But the attempts to bring it down isn't gonna work.

  • And you DO realize people are not quietly accepting that, right? Times have changed, people and the filesharer community are actively looking into the politics of the matter. Just see the PirateParty, that's a great start! Also, wikileaks prevents your people from fucking up with us with underhanded tactics without our previous knowledge to an extent. That, and we also have spies in the industry - anonymous tips goes a long way.

  • lol, muslims are taking over Sweden and people are voting for the pirate party. Looooool. Once the muslims have finished taken over and implemented Sharia Law, you won't even be able to play games let alone pirate them. They'll chop your hands off and stone you in the street. So keep voting for the pirate party, see what it brings for you.

  • "muslims are taking over Sweden "

The muslim population of Sweden is only a few percent and far from all of them are actually religious.

Perhaps you should worry about your own country instead, unlike the UK Sweden doesn't have any sharia courts for example while the UK has quite a few of them nowadays. "So keep voting for the pirate party, see what it brings for you. "

Hopefully and end to the surveillance society the government has been working so hard on creating.

  • Oh yeah, Google this and stop hiding from the truth - muslims rule major swedish cities.

And as for our own country, the difference is that we are doing something about it, not voting for a shitty pirate party lol. That was my point. The idiots in Sweden are going to vote for filesharing while the muslims take over their land. We aren't. At least they won't see them coming though as their surveillance will have been shut down by the pirate party.

  • I did google it and it lead me to Dhimmi Watch.

I trust that site about as much as I trust Fox News.

The last time I stumbled upon that site I saw some translated Swedish articles. Not only were they translated incorrectly but they had actually made things up that were not in the original Swedish articles.

  • Lol, that because you chose that one on purpose so you could come back and complain. Did you look at any of the others? Or the video I posted below. Says it all I think.

  • Stick youtube before these links, then come back and tell me there isn't a problem.

    watch?v=QILt8mnZnMs&feature=fvw

    watch?v=xYAm9Gv-Zcc

  • The second one is from Fox News and as said I don't trust Fox News, and I'm definitely not alone when it comes to that.

  • I am in no way saying there are no problems with muslim immigrants here, there's plenty of problems.

It's just that some make it seem worse than it really is.

For example plenty of people outside of Sweden seem to think that basically all of Malmö is controlled by Muslims which is false.

There is however a district in Malmö where there is a lot of problems, but it's not the whole city.

It's the same where I live, it's a lovely city but there's one part of it I tend to stay out of.

  • Besides, next year the Sweden Democrats will get into the parliament and the situation will start to improve.

According to a recent poll the alliance parties will get 42.1% of the votes, the opposition will get 46.8% and the Sweden Democrats will get 5.6%.

In other words if the alliance wants to stay in power they will have to work with the Sweden Democrats.

This was just a poll but few people doubt the real outcome will be much different.

  • But you still think that filesharing is a bigger issue than protecting your country from being taken over. It's a proven fact, ( I'll provide you with many difference sources of the inforamtion if you like ) that muslims are breeding much faster than any other group. As time goes on the problem in Sweden will grow and grow. So are you all going to continue to believe that filesharing is a bigger issue?

  • Every country in Europe has the same problem, not just Sweden. But do you really think the EU parliament is going to give a crap about filesharing when the whole of Europe is being Islamified under our noses.

  • File Sharing has very little to do with why I support the pirate party.

I do not think the National Radio Defense Establishment should be allowed to monitor my emails or phone calls but thanks to the FRA Law (aka Lex Orwell). And it doesn't only affect Swedes, they can also monitor any foreign traffic which passes through Sweden and quite a lot of foreign internet and phone traffic passes through here.

  • But it seems the FRA law was only the beginning, soon the Stockholm program is coming, but that is actually a EU program so it won't just be Sweden that is affected by that.

I may love George Orwell's 1984 but I don't wish to ever find myself living in such a society.

  • We recently introduced the ability to monitor our emails in the UK. But we don't have a problem with that. The bomb attacks which killed 52 people in London could have been prevented and the people intercepted if we had those laws at the time, as it was we couldn't monitor their activities and the chance was missed. We knew they were planning something and the people involved, but had no idea where or when. If we could have monitored them, we would have caught them beforehand.

  • But if you're not doing anything wrong, why would you be worried about your email or phone calls being monitored? They are hardly going to listen in on some dirty call with your girlfriend just for the hell of it. It is introduced for our protection. Besides, they need reasonable grounds to start looking at your emails, they are not going to start randomly looking at them just to see if you have been doing things you shouldn't. But again, if you haven't done anything wrong, why worry about it?
