Did you know that WBAL's switch from NBC to CBS occured during the same month that Cal Ripken, Jr. began his Hall-Of-Fame career in Baltimore (August 1981)?
They switched back in '95...it was a three-way switch. WBAL went from CBS to NBC, WJZ Channel 13 went from ABC to CBS, and WMAR Channel 2 went from NBC to CBS. WMAR has carried all Big Three networks in its history.
@faysal21adigun - And not only that, but it also gave WMAR the distinction of being one of the few stations in the country to have been affiliated w/all of the Big 3 networks @ one time or another.

Great! I loved seeing Weezie and Boss Hogg. I wish CBS had this lineup now. Beats anything on now for sure.

CBS did the opposite by being carried by all the Big Three networks in Baltimore.
