that isn't that percice and you would have to change the ecu each time i'm sure he just has something i haven't heard of that lets him switch between the maps or maybe he just has multiple ecu's and an electronic boost controler so he doesn't fuck up the car

No he wouldn't most stand-alone and piggy back ECU's like the Greddy EMS that I run or the Hyrda allow you to have multiple tuning maps on one ecu. Depending on the ECU you can run 3 different tuning maps, even though on mine there's a switch on the ECU itself to switch tuning maps, but im sure they have some that can be remotely changed.
