Umm, Sting was blonde with a buzz cut for well over a decade in NWA/WCW. In fact, he didn't go naturally dark until the late 90s/early 2000s. Maybe a year or two before the NWO arrival. Warrior debuted in WWF with dark brown hair and it got lighter thru the years.
