Oh my goodness! I think this is exactly what David and Gillian are referring to when they say that people oftentimes put words into their mouths and make them seem as though they volunteered such information without being asked. I don't know, I just feel as though they seem a little off-guard in this interview (very atypical for both David and Gillian considering how they've been manipulated by the press in the past). You can definitely tell this is one of the earlier interviews...

I realized when he hosted the last night show and had the kid on for ER that he was the older guy. It hit me then that he wasn't the young stud muffin anymore BUT he'll always be the stud muffin I like.

what ruined the show for me was reading a 1998 interview with duchovny where he said he thought the show was 'silly and full of plot holes'. he said he'd rly like to be off it but because of his greed he'd give em 2 more seasons:( that hurt david!

David was a rookie back then and he acted like it. He's not the same now, I highly doubt he'd agree to do the second movie if he were. he was just young and naive at the time. And the funny thing is that he went right back to being a TV star because that's what he's good at.
