ok so im not the genius in my grade but, like how do u find things to edit on the computer to edit, cuz like its all numbers and they dont translate into letters or words so how would i know what im editing in flexhex?
I know that this question might not be too relevant, but I have a .bin *it was in a PSP game and it contains the sound,voices,ect.* now when I open it in XVI32 (hex editor) I get a lot of crap and unknown things (Japanese so gibberish code) but at the top it says things like folder directories leading to files ex. PSP\SOUND\Voice1.vag
then there is more garble. Mainly how do I extract files and directories from a binary file? (Note: POWERISO,MAGICISO, ect. DON'T WORK)
alright, i know i'm being "that guy" right now but 001110010 is a lowercase r....... lowercase a is 01100001 in binary (first zero is not technically need though)
ok if I had ascii characters like this¼òùTOÿXaÅê and if I were to put that into Hexadecimal how would I read it, I am very confused because I found a ascii chart, but what would that be in English, like decrypted? Thanks for helping!

@Haxxtt Hey there Haxxtt, Looking at your hex string, 14 00 6C 09 20 53 EC E3 63 AB D0 27 55 AF BF 3B, I turned that into #'s and got the following: 14 = 20 00 = 0 6C = 108 09 = 9 20 = 32 53 = 83 EC = 236 E3 = 227 63 = 99 AB = 171 D0 = 208 27 = 39 55 = 85 AF = 175 BF = 191 3B = 59 All you will have to so now is turn those into text with an ASCII chart. There you go, hope that helps.
@yoshiblue7 Thanks alot, yet i still don't get how you decoded that Also,When i tryed to decode those numbers u gave me with the help of a website it gave me this
Thanks this helped alot. I'm modding CA (combat arms) and the anti gun files in the rez files have hex numbers for the way the gun acts. now i will be able to mod the gun now!
hey thanks so much u just gave me an understanding of sumthin i had vitually no knowledge of like an hour ago i can tell ur vids r gonna help me alot :)

ThANX!!! it does loook easier than binary xD
when you read and write binary and hexadecimal... do you have it memorized or do you have to take out your ascii chart?
(just kinda gettin' an idea of how hard it is) LOL
