  • What type of paper did you use?

  • do you have simple, and easyer origami (this will be my first 3d origami)

  • @MsZvezdin this is kind of a simple one. another one is the mini owl. so look up 3d origami mini owl

  • Jewellia could you show us how you make your pieces rounder?

  • Jewellia is AWESOME! But can she make paper cheese...?

  • beautiful indeed, but I have some Q because this model would be probably the first 3d origami I`ll make: can I put some transparent spray on it after its done, to be more firmly or I just can glue every part together and I`d like the basket to be larger, so could it be maked out of bigger triangles, double size perhaps - 16 from A4, not 32 or size is up to number of smaller ones in the construction?

great work really, thanks for posting these tutorials

  • @Bayubadu thanks^^ yes to make it bigger you can either use more small pieces or do it exactly the same with bigger pieces<- that would be easier because if using small pieces you'll have to figure out how to make it yourself and the whole at the bottom would be bigger/the inverted pieces might not cover it all up. yeah you can glue them or use spray. I've never used spray before so I dunno how it goes. I've heard someone used hairspray and said it works well. glad you like the tutorials :-)

  • @jewellia7777

yes, with double sized triangles it would be easier to follow the pattern and using smaller one would need to improvize, but the construction with the smaller parts would give more stability to the item because of the paper thickness on smaller paper-modul surface if I work with the same kind of paper and I usually do - plane print paper ... I`ll try both anyway

thanks for the reply, happy NY and many more great projects from you :)

  • @jewellia7777

I`ve done it as I said, it looks very nice but I`m affraid to breathe near it because it fell appart milion times while I made it and I wanted to eat it every half an hour. nevermind, I think it`s the thickness of the paper in question, I use 80g A4 and it`s slippery, so I`ll put some glue to fix it because it looks great, in dark and light purple and light pink tones

my 5 year daughter was delighted by all that, so she made some triangles for her own `project` :D

  • btw.. how you make the spines?

  • it's amazing! thank u veery much! you're so talented!

  • i cant get the triangle and change it w/ other color coz i put glue on it to secure it b coz it fall apart... help me please

  • @hottenrose you should watch a whole tutorial before making to see if i take pieces off, cos it happens in lots of tutorials, and so you can get the idea of how to make the model before making it just continue, you'll just have coloured triangle shapes instead of diamond shapes

  • also can u add me as your friend so i can view you video thnks

  • hi jel... can you give me the size of the paper you used to make that triangle?

thanks bcoz the paper i used is small. i used regular bond paper size how do i cut it just like yours?

  • julia, do you think we can make a mini one out of a base of 9 and skip 1 piece instead of 2 pieces?

  • @threattluke base 9 is kinda small and the pieces can rip, and i dunno if the inverted pieces will fit on the bottom, but yeah you can just try and see. i dunno if skipping 1 piece will match up to the pattern/ base 9, like if the diamonds/ spaces will be even. just play around with it and see, if its wrong then you just take bits apart and modify it. i wont know if it works cos I havent made it with a base 9

  • :( the inverted pieces make my pieces puff out an dont stay in place ...does the inverted base make it more secure ??

  • @cutipretzel no it just gives it a flat base/closes up the hole at the bottom a bit more so you can put stuff in it

  • wait.... so we put the inverted base first or the handle first? (i didnt quite get wat u said after u inserted the inverted base...)

  • @cutipretzel it doesnt matter either way, but its easier to insert the inverted pieces before the handle cos the handle will get in the way/ the model will be easier to hold while putting the inverted pieces in

  • love this! I am making one of those if I pull myself together and fold these little things!

  • what kinda paper do you use???

  • Hi!! I was wondering for the green flower basket, for the diamonds did u use orange and yellow? And for the handle did u use green, yellow, and pink? Im making this for my friend so thx!!

  • @chzhang689 the diamonds are yellow and dark yellow, and yeah the handles are green and yellow with pink spots

  • @itzisabelle Have you tried gluing it? Mine always break off too.

  • I lov these new ones ( it is easier )

  • @Skelanimals1123 i already said before I would be remaking all my old vids with talking cos people cant follow it. + I needa add the "go the the beginner vid" sign cos people keep asking how to make the triangles

  • Why are you making repeats of tutorials you have already made? An your pieces look different. Like they seem longer.

  • @12345doggydiggy i already said i'm making remakes of the old ones without talking cos ppl cant follow them

  • If I were to make 1 for Halloween, what colour other than orange and black should I use?

  • @victoriacrl the only other halloween colours i know are purple, lime green and maybe white like white, orange and yellow for candy corn. i dunno what colour combos, just look up halloween stuff on google pics and look at the colours

  • i love your tutorials :3

  • First one! And I love your Videos thanks soo MUCH!
