The strips aren't very effective and when they are it usually doesn't last very long. They only pick up the outer blackheads. The ones chillin' deep are going to remain in their holes.
Your best bet is to steam/hot water your face and scrub for a minute with Apricot Scrub. Then wash the scrub off with cold water.
Do this every day since your body is obviously producing too much oil that's clogging up the dead skin cells. So, scrub, tone, and drink an assload of water.
ambism is right. they only usually work on the outer blackheads. everybody is different so it might depend on how sturdy your skin is or isn't. try many things until you find the right product.
From the look of the strip, you put TOO MUCH water. That's why it didn't extract many blackheads, it was too wet so you basically dissolved the glue that's supposed to pull the blackheads out...

You can get them at CVS, longs, walmart or any other drug store ...
I also use a peel mask and neutrogena's invigorating facial scrub (it's blue w/ tiny blue beads).... they work amazingly :)
My skin is soo smooth & i havn't had a zit or blackhead in 3 years :D

Use an ice cube and gently rub it over the pores. Cold shrinks pores. Hot water/steam opens them up. ;)

Once you apply it you can't keep adjusting and refitting it, otherwise it won't bond correctly. Just put it on the nose and stop touching it.
