Wouldn't it have made more sense to have her follow "Ein" and discover Hayate and help him against DOATEC?

The way the story mode is structured in DOA has always been a bit lazy, but DOA4 took the cake in terms of being all over the place.

Hitomi's DOA3 Ending is beautiful and fits her character, whereas this feels totally random. I suppose you could interpret her fight with Lei Fang over food as being a mirror of Lei Fang's relationship with Jann Lee; i.e Hitomi fancies Lei Fang. :o
