  • Great clip of stern shoe. I was never a big fan of JBRUR but he does great impressions.

  • Norm is a goddamn legend. He doesn't do comedy, he IS comedy.

  • For those looking for the hard to find "Twilight Zone" sketch the only place I can find it is on the "SNL Halloween Special" DVD. You can get it from Netflix (disc only)

  • Breuer is the best realist out there. Doesn't pull any punches. I have heard some inconsistencies in his stories over other radio programs, but I still believe that for the most part he is telling the truth with some poetic license. Norm is my hero too. I would hate to have partied with Jim because although he blames the eyes...he was a loadie in the SNL days. He seems to have selective memory about party fouls and drunken behavior. Still classic though. The Lars Ulrich story is the best.

  • Jim Breuer is my all time fav howard guests

  • holly shit does anybody in showbizz likes Chris Kattan? lol

  • I couldn't stand Chris Kattan! He sucked. Was not funny and I always got douche vibes from him, so I'm not surprised to hear this. I love Jim Breuer impression of Norm. hahaha!

  • @faffaflunkie You're the anal rim of Youtube comments.

  • @supernick11 Maybe it's time to break the Prozacs in half.

  • Artie Lange and Jim Breuer on a certain morning radio program telling stories of Norm from his SNL and sitcom days

Hey douchebag fakenewsdotnet , if you are going to steal material from Howard Stern at least have enough balls to give him credit. You are another closet listener.

  • @RICH12DAY34 Calm down, asshole. He's being purposefully ambiguous about the radio show as a joke. Besides, he gives Stern credit in the video anwyay. So don't be such a reactionary twat.

  • @RICH12DAY34 you r right this dude is a closet listener dick face

  • if there's a better laugh in the history of show biz thatn jim breur's i've yet to hear it

  • I just found Jim talking about the twilight zone sketch in a standup, though you guys might enjoy this.

    /watch?v=5rFu_u71gas

  • Artie - Stern or no Stern, WE LOVE AND MISS YOU. Keep smilin' bro. Don't give up. Make that multi-million dollar blockbuster. Write that clever TV pilot. The world is yours, man, and millions of fans got your back and want only the best for you!

  • Jim does a spot on Kattan impression too.

  • Jim does a spot on norm impresion.

  • I dont know whats funnier, norm on stern or people talking about norm on stern

  • artie and breuer are outstanding

  • In a Norm voice: "Ehhh, imagine if you will" LOL!

  • Robin's laugh is BRUtal

  • I remember watching that scetch when it first aired and seeing Breuer biting his lip when he was on camera. I wondered what was wrong with him but now I know he was just holding in his laughter.

  • AHAHAHA , i think i just feel in love with Norm once again! :D

  • Breuer and Lange 2012

  • Artie has to be fired, I actually think that's why he tried to kill himself. Howard has said nothing about the development of Artie's situation, and he has not even tried to find out any info. This reminds me of what happened to KC, I just don't know why Howard won't admit Artie has been fired.

  • Brillant.

  • Nobody accept Bob Saget knew what the meaning was behind Norm's super lame jokes at the roast.

The meaning was, all those jokes were jokes that Bob Saget had used at one point or another in his stand-up routines.

In other words, the roast, was showing Saget how lame his own material was.

And of course, since Norm is 1 step down the chessboard from 99% of the audience, nobody got it.

  • @slitheringinterstate You are dumb.

  • @slitheringinterstate how do you know this? sounds like an urban legend to me. I thought those jokes were from some old the friars club joke book.

  • @lowlypeasant I noticed that Norm read off the piece of paper that he was seen writing on earlier in the show

Which means he made those jokes up on the spot.

    Which is Awesome

Which is why Norm is one of the best comedians out there

  • @thrillhouse92701 I'm not sure I agree with your logic.. he could have just been writing notes. But yeah, Norm is without a doubt one of the greatest of all time.

..and that was THE best roast performance ever. He flipped the whole thing on its head.

  • artie and breuer kill it. and norm is the man.

  • jb did norm mcd great

  • the roasters didnt say that they were laughing like i was

  • thats one of the best stories i've ever heard.

  • Miss you Artie.

  • His roast was genius. Jeff Ross (and most of those Roast comics) don't have anything on Norm. Too bad Comedy Central edited out a ton of his material. It was all so great.

  • Dude, you gotta post the rest of this interview!

  • norm is usually really funny...but i saw him really bomb at a roast..i forget who was getting roasted..maybe flavor flav..cant remember..but he bombed major...and it was kinda funny cuz u usually see him being really funny

  • @CQ1981331 it was the bob saget roast and he did that on purpose, how can you not think that was comic brilliance, thats the hardest ive laughed at something on TV his G-Rated jokes being placed right in the middle of all of that raunchy materal He's brilliant

  • @ksvbro even the roasters said they didnt know what was up with that..if being unfunny and sounding like an idiot is brilliant then ok....like i said i like the guy..hes funny as hell but how was that funny at the roast?

  • @CQ1981331 naa the roasters were just in awe that he was doing it, they all respect norm as a comic... they dont even know how to roast him...all they got is the gambling thing

  • @PinStripes41 yeah like i said norm is funny as fuck..i love him....i just didnt understand him in that roast....

  • @CQ1981331 Man, you have a sadly narrow sense of humor if you didn't laugh your ass off at Norm roasting Saget. That was the funniest thing I'd seen in ages.

  • @ksvbro Hell yea! It was purest GOLD.

  • @CQ1981331 WTF? Norm roasting Saget was fucking HILARIOUS. Some of the funniest shit I've ever seen. Open your mind up to enjoying plain silliness, and ridiculous brilliance. Norm OWNED the roast.

  • @MultipleScrotum well im just saying what my opinion is...i love norm.i just didnt get it.imean now that i look back i can see that he meant what he was doing...but even the roasters didnt know what the fuck he was doing.but i can see your point..and btw love ur user name..i laughed as soon as i saw it

  • @CQ1981331 Fare enough. If you like Norm, then you are good with me. Glad you laughed at the name :) heh

  • @MultipleScrotum yeah i mean i was just explaining where i was coming from and my point.but i always liked him..hes a funny motherfucker

  • norm is brilliant

  • @ksvbro well on the other hand maybe your right...who am i to say what is and what isnt

  • I miss Artie!

  • Norm is the definition of Awesome.

  • I am gay for Norm

  • I am very horny

  • I heard Kattan was reduced to mild appearances because Lorne Michaels didn't like that he tried to get in the movie business so much.

Some Kattan stuff was alright. I loved Goth Talk, but Bruer was in that one too... until he got fired for doing some MTV show.

  • Norm is the BEST

  • Kattan's one of the newer SNLers that ruined everything. Never liked any of his characters or bits. He was rarely mildly funny.

Norm's lack of effort on skits made him more funny to me sometimes. I like how he doesn't care when he doesn't get laughs 'n he laughs at his own stuff that he thinks is funny.

Jimmy Fallon laughing during skits and ruining them - not funny. I like how he got beat up by Peter from Family Guy for that very reason. Peter put it perfect in that episode of Family Guy.

  • Yeah, any laughing during is usually not good. But its hard to blame sometimes, like the time Spade had to hide his face the first time Farley did his 'motivational' character. Some of Norms characters were (despite his claims to the contrary) hilarious, like the Fake "Bravo Profiles: Quentin Tarantino" one that was recently up briefly before being removed

    ...

  • NORM MACDONALD IS MY HERO!!!

Seriously I've been watching/listening to hours of his videos here on YouTube the past week and I am tearing up laughing all the time listening to this stuff...fucking amazing. I've been a fan of Norm's since Weekend Update but hearing all these behind the scenes stories just kills me

  • he also did mango, which is peepers, except he talks. where can you get the whole audio?????

  • I never get tired of this story either. Norm is one of my Hero's in life !!

  • norm rules! breuer could be one of the best story tellers as well! F#@K Kattan and his stupid bits. total waste of time.

  • Kattan always seemed like a douche to me, not funny

  • @TheRuckus75 I know, Fuck Mango!!

  • I'll never get tired of this story.

  • @katey1dog HA...totally. Just relistened to it.

  • Kattan's only contribution to SNL was Peepers. That was funny.

  • @katey1dog me 2

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAA

  • I gotta hear the whole audio.

  • Wow, I fucking am in love with Norm after the last story, fucking badass

  • hahaha go norm!

  • They will make a movie about norm

  • Norm on Chris.....I nearly shit my pants

  • I love Norm

  • Hahah, awesome. Kattan is a fucking goof, and horribly unfunny. He deserved to get the royal deflation treatment at the hands of the kick awesome Norm MacDonald.

  • 1:04 sounds like Krusty the Clown not Norm

  • LOL! He does!

  • Well the roast was anti-comedy. He was intentionally bombing. The whole joke is that he was doing the lamest set a comedian could do. That doesn't mean you can't not like it, buy I thought it was kind of funny.

  • The set was comprised entirely of old jokes that were actually told at Friar's Club Roasts. Just funny how sensibilities change. Norm's got respect for the history of comedy that it really showed with that he did at the Saget roast.

  • Agreed. If you watch those old Dean Martin roasts, those are the jokes. Corniest stuff that killed for some reason back then. That's why all the comics there got it, and no one else seemed to like.

  • Yeah, it was as if he was trying to channel Andy Kaufman. It was still funny, but I still prefer the rat bastard Norm we all know and love.

  • If you thought that those jokes were norm's actual real material, you are an idiot.

  • Maybe to some. In my opinion, it was so intentionally unfunny, that it was hilarious. Norm is a genius, which is a term that's overused these days I know, but he deserves the title.

It's a certain brand of humor that you either get it or you don't, you apparently do not. Enjoy the next Dane Cook special, and be sure to Tivo "Mind of Mencia", wouldn't wanna miss that.

  • Comment removed

  • because you don't understand that Norm was intentionally bombing when he roasted Saget. It's a little more nuanced than most people can understand.

  • Ahh, the only thing that upset me about Norm bit at the Saget roast was at the end he didn't say "... and these jokes were written by Bob Saget".

I was hoping he'd do it throughout the entire set, but it never happened *sigh*. Norm's awesome though, Screwed and Dirty Business were so hilarious.

  • he did those jokes on the roast on purpose. It was intentionally suppose to be g-rated jokes.

  • Devilsrain....

His raos of Saget was an inside joke..here's what you didn't know...

All those jokes Norm was telling? Were OLD BOB SAGET JOKES.

He was making fun of how horribly unfunny Bob Saget's standup routines have been over the years.

Think of it through Bob's eyes and I'm sure you'd appreciate the humor.

  • Wrong. Bob's always been dirty despite his tv show past.

  • his roast of saget was fucking genius.

  • LAWL

Chris Catan is fail, Jimmy Fallon turned out to have more talent than him.

  • thats the best fuckin story ever!! norm is my hero!

  • i've been lookin for this interview forever. thank you so much

  • norm IS THE MAN!!!! WE NEED MORE NORM

  • norm is my hero

  • Fuckin Normy lol

  • Classic Norm!

  • Fuck, I'm laughing my ass off at work.

  • its howard sterns show

  • Norm is a bad ass

Seriously, I wish he was my uncle

  • The one best of SNL dvd I keep waiting for is the best of Norm Macdonald. It's a crime that they don't have it.

  • No shit.

  • yeah me too

i guess they dont wanna put it out cause he emberrased them on their own show.

some fan should put it together online that would be great

  • It would be mostly weekend update is the only problem, he had a few amazing scetches but not enough for a DVD.

  • FUNNY ASS STORY

  • LMAO!!! Man, I miss howard and his crew on terrestrial radio =,(. Now adays, terrestrial radio sux!!! These guys are the so freakin funny!!

  • Arties the fucking shit

  • What. You best be trolling

  • WHAT IN THE FUCK?

  • It's really sad just how wrong you are.

  • "hammer"

  • I'd love to hear the whole story!

  • heard it live its the funniest

  • that story at the end made me laugh my balls off..i remember when norm came BACK to host SNL, and he told them it was wierd how he's hosting, yet? he's not good enough to be ON it..and he pondered why and came up with that SNL SUCKS and compared to it? he's really funny..hahahahhahaaaa

  • Norm is a fucking genius

  • Norm is brilliant and keeps it real

  • Breuer was awesome on the show today, too.

  • Norm pwns!

  • Don't write "pwns", you come off like a douche!

  • Don't call someone a douche. You come off as cliche...

  • Do you know what really sounds "cliche"? A person who tells someone not to say something because it sounds "cliche".

  • wow, dynamite response. You essentially called yourself "cliche"

  • ha ha ha...Nice attempt, but it didn't quite make it. Maybe I should have just used the word "douche" like the other guy. Oh, wait...you said that's a "cliche"...damn. We're stuck in a loop. Will we ever get out? Probably not.

  • lol, Yea this feed back loop wil never end...

haha uh oh we've been doing this so long it has actually turned cliche :(

  • What's a cliche? Is it an egg dish?

  • hahahahahhaa

  • Strangely enough, Norm is co-starring in a movie with Kattan soon.

  • and to make it more strange, Pamela Anderson is also in it too.

  • Good Lord!!!

  • hahaha this is hilarious!

  • jim breuer tells a great story.

  • Plus the imitation of Norm was pretty spot on.

  • This is too goddamn funny. Love how much breuer and lange like norm.

  • i wanna see kattan sink in that sketch now.

  • thats awesome, he was just winkin like yea i get his dumb ass.

  • One of the best clips on entire youtube!

  • lol Norm is God

  • Artie & Jim are a laugh riot!! Norm is funny shame he's got his issues. Still funny though.

  • what issues?

  • He orchestrated 911...oh and little boys....he likes little boys.

  • "oh my gawd, we're gonna make out!"- lmao

  • Where's Kattan now? What a bum.

  • jim breuer's impression of norm sounds like half norm, and half krusty the clown.
