As someone who has played both of the original Banjo games I can clearly say this game is more than worth it. While most of the game play revolves around building vehicles now, it still if funny. There are still laughs here and there. It's still holds true to the original when it comes to the plot.

I think they've sorta tweaked it around here and there. The worlds are huge, the gameplay has been tweaked a bit, and they even have a sort of Museum in the level. I think that's a great idea, especially for people who never played the originals.

Shooter games aside, I think the new vehicular approach is pretty damn clever. If BK 3 were to be released on Wii we'd be getting BK 2.5 with an arcadic N64 feel and Wii-mote capabilities.

Ugh, this looks too complicated, and not fun. I think when I'm going to be playing it, I'm going to find myself not even driving in the vehicles and just running around to make the game feel how I wanted it to feel: traditional platforming. But wait... Gasoline? You can run out of fuel in this game?! The ENTIRE game revolves around vehicles, and they can run out of gas?! So you need to find parts, build parts, AND conserve fuel? This sounds more like a science project than a Banjo-Kazooie game!
did you even pay attention the video? There's still new moves! and swimming and jumping and climbing. And after seeing the new trailer released at IGN today (it's a new trailer comparing all 3 games), there is a whole underwater you can swim and explore (not sure atm). Watch the showdown town walkthrough (unless you already have) and listen to what he says about showdown town.

no it wont. Viva Pinata is only coming to the DS because Microsoft allows Rare to make games for the DS only, being that Microsoft is not in the handheld/portable gaming competition.

Casuals interested in shit like wii fit and wii sports and more casual shit is the reason it's selling more, also it's cheap. lol they took the easy way out by copying the ps2......sad. it doesnt matter though, it may sale more but it sure as hell don't have better games than the 360 or even the ps3 for that matter.....only good games wii owners can rely on is the same ones everyone has played 20+years ago.

Shooter games aside, I think the new vehicular approach is pretty damn clever. If BK 3 were to be released on Wii we'd be getting BK 2.5 with an arcadic N64 feel and Wii-mote capabilities.

Ugh, this looks too complicated, and not fun. I think when I'm going to be playing it, I'm going to find myself not even driving in the vehicles and just running around to make the game feel how I wanted it to feel: traditional platforming. But wait... Gasoline? You can run out of fuel in this game?! The ENTIRE game revolves around vehicles, and they can run out of gas?! So you need to find parts, build parts, AND conserve fuel? This sounds more like a science project than a Banjo-Kazooie game!

did you even pay attention the video? There's still new moves! and swimming and jumping and climbing. And after seeing the new trailer released at IGN today (it's a new trailer comparing all 3 games), there is a whole underwater you can swim and explore (not sure atm). Watch the showdown town walkthrough (unless you already have) and listen to what he says about showdown town.
