this song means so much more to me now that the Lord has opened my eyes. I grew up in the church, had pastors for parents, walked the walk and talked the talk, and even convinced myself I was of God. But a mighty humbling came by the Holy Spirit and opened my eyes to my wretched Pharisee-like state. I will never never be the same "it's what THE LORD has done in me!" Salvation is of the Lord, Glory to the LAMB!!!

first let me introduce my self I am originally a Muslim but now I am an Atheist because that Islam is a violent and racist religion. I would like to say that Christianity also is bad as Islam why ? well I quote this from bible "Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword" that means Jesus was a violent not a peaceful guy. and because many Christians see me as a terrorist because of my race "middle eastern (ARAB)".

But as with Koranic texts used by islamphobics, what u have said has been taken out of context. And that being said, who are you to question what God has in store for us? The "sword" is the word of God. Jesus was the Word, is the Word, and will forever be.

I don't think you've read or understood the Bible my friend. First of all do not compare Christianity to islam. islam is a religion of hate and murder, Christianity is a religion of love and forgiveness. Second of all like you say Jesus didn't come to bring peace, He came to bring salvation and forgivness, and that sword is for us to fight against the power of satan. Jesus was not violent, He died to save me and you from going to hell for our sins.
