I still remember when i built the drone ships for the fighter squadron medal. I attacked the enemy home planet with 50 drone carriers and they had like 3 heavy ships to defend the planet. That looked soo funny when the small drones beat up the big battleships

Actually The Advent are the best for alot of reasons.

One of the reasons are that they are more balanced then the TEC and Vasari. See the Vasari focus on resources, and TEC are focused on credits. The Advent probably 90% or each.

AND the Advent have a trading advantage!

And yes... The ships look great :D

The ships are sooo slick, and once ridiculously upgraded they're definitely the most powerful fleet (given micromanagement anyway). Although to be honest I prefer the look of the TEC capitals, esp. Marza Dreadnought, the asymmettry looks amazing on it.

The Advent ships' style kinda reminds me of the Covenant from Halo. Their ships are also the best when it comes to versatility. I'm always the Advent, though I replace their voices with that from the TEC (by switching around the files) to make them seem more conventionally Human.

You can make them into suicide drones with the Martyr ability IIRC. With Lingering Presence researched you can also have remote viewing of the planet where they died for a while.
