  • @Francis1775 Japan normally takes the fat off their meat before cooking because that's just how their culture is :P It's one of the main reasons why Japanese people are so thin (excluding sumo wrestlers of course LOL).

  • @Clonesensei XD

  • there is a tinny japanese restaurant where i live and my dad always order yakitori that sauce is the most delicius thing ever

  • this just makes me even hungrier, cause i know that i dont have the money or transportation necessary to get the ingredients >.<

  • I wonder why she cooks them before brushing the sauce. Why not dip them raw and cook them afterwards ?

  • @ProfessorJones7 If you dip them raw it wouldn't be safe to baste the yakitori during the cooking process? That's my best guess.

  • @ProfessorJones7

if u dip it raw into the sauce before cooking, somehow the sauce doesnt stick onto the meat.

so its either u marinate for long hours or u use this style. works during bbq too^^

  • looks so tasty. but the chicken looks a bit raw.

  • I ate this in one European restaurant only with 5euro. Very tasty. Next time i have to try to cook at home :)

  • I think u can neuromanson. I actually tried this on my grill an my parents llllllloooooooovvvvvvveeeeeeed it!

  • I have a question: I snagged a Tiger brand yakitori grill stove, and it has a label on the front saying it uses LPG cartridge fuel (I can't read Japanese, so I can't make out the rest of the label). Can I use butane cartridge fuel instead? They're basically the same size/shape.

  • Whoa, a lot of sake, don't get drunk!

  • @Littlecutefishy Cooking with sake burns the alcohol..just like any other alcoholic beverage..thus you don't ingest any alcohol.

  • good!!! i like jp food cause u

  • For me, If i wish to infuse the garlic flavor into a sauce or something i usually crush the garlic clove first becuase it also makes it a easier to peel and, well, its already crushed. But you dont have to do it if you dont want to. :) By the Way, I love your videos! they are just so cute! Please continue to make more! :)

  • @iloveb00bs00 Contrarily domestic animal eating is only in korea... It is also cultural norm there. The men use it for macho contests because as you can guess... Cats and dogs probably dont taste very fucking good...

  • @omjeremy You have a great ear!

  • I made this (with a few modifications) and it was sooo yummy! I didn't have any skewers so I just pan grilled the chicken, and used water instead of sake. Very easy, very good!

  • 0:28 beat the chicken to make sure its dead

  • The ending was hilarious~

  • i love the ending XDDDD

  • THATS CHICKEN? What am i eating then?

  • @AHYORYA yeah, I could have sworn that the yakitori I always eat was pork. Why has my mouth been lying to me?!

  • @Matthias421 Actually there are two kind of Yakitoi: One with chicken and the another with pork. But that chicken looks like beef.
