@aki6543 thanks for the comment! its been quite a few years since i have done that but if i remember correctly. i dummied the wire for the fuseable link that controls the fog lights, then ran a line from the relay to a switch inside the car and also ran a hot (12v) line to that switch so that way when the switch is ON the relay kicks on, and thus sends power to the foglights. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND I RAN THE SWITCH THAT I INSTALLED TO A RELAY. I DO NOT RECCOMEND POWERING THEM THROUGH A SWITCH.
hey do u have any problems with the 55w in ur fogs?? alsoany overheating of the headlgiht itself?? did u use a seperate relay fuse for both the fogs and headlgith
I have been running the fog's since mid winter 2008 without any issues of heat or anything else whatsoever. All of the factory wiring was used and no wiring had to be run at all. Hope i helped
hey... finally a great video of the 55w 8000k apexcones... thanks for that... couple questions cuz im thinking of getting the exact same ones.. how is the light output with these on the road.. do you see far? and i want a slight hint of blue when im driving.. so do you see any blue tint on the road when you are driving? I also heard that after a couple months they are suppsoed to get worn in and gain more color, have you seen that happen yet? Again Great video!!!
The light output is amazing! expecially compared to the 35w. if i put the highs on i see SUPER FAR, and with the lows and fogs i see more than plenty far enough. I have absolutely no blue tint after the lights warm up they are practically diamond white. contrary to popular belife i think they lose color with time(get white) hope i helped
that sounds really complicated i dont know wireing my self and im not very terchnical. this is my first car and probably will be my last.
