Does anyone realize that Joesph Smith was initially a scam artist and he got caught for it many times. He was digging when he found ancient scribes that could only be read with (and i quote) magical glasses that he recieved from a angel. Essintially the Mormon religion is totally and completely bogus. Most of them are. LDS tuition is half of non-LDS tuition, which is a huge incentive for mormons to attend BYU, along with the fact that the university is owned by the LDS church.

Ok, I am here to eat crow. My statement was not 100% accurate. In 2007 Utah sold out zero home games. In 2006 they sold out 2 home games (one versus BYU). I could not find 2005 attendance numbers, but even in the BCS busting year (which was commendable) the Utes only sold out 2 home games besides the BYU game. I don't hate Utah, but nobody like to get made fun of over something that just isn't true.

They are very closely related to the LDS church. They worship the same God and they live their lives based on the exact same text that you do. The only difference is that they haven't changed their culture based on what society has deemed apropriate and inapropriate.

I've already explained this to you, although it's obvious that you WANT to believe something else. The Church doesn't change it's doctrine based on the whims of society. If changes are made, they are based on revelation. That was the case of polygamy (or plural marriage) and there were those who rejected the new revelation, thinking they knew better than the Prophet. So they were cut off from the Church.

Yeah, it's very convienient that these "revelations" came in 1890 becasue the supreme court closed the bok on Polygamy in 1878. Same with black people being able to hold the preisthood; right as the civil rights movemen was ending and being considered a racist was becoming a worse and worse thing; the church has a "revelation" that black people can now hold the priesthood.
