  • its always good to play things slow to build up speed once it has become easier for you to play at faster speeds, bravo for not being one the videos where the dude just scrambles his way thru the song. thats how you get it done son

  • Nice! You did a great job there even if it is slower.. And great tone too. I have the same guitar :-) 5stars

  • playin it awesome man...great work.

i'm just starting to tackle this bad boy...

  • needs to be faster and played smoother. You don't add in the vibratos that malmsteen has.(which is one of his big things). but i think it still was played decently. i must say one thing....i'm jelous of your equipment used to put it on the computer. how much did it cost you and what it called?. I want to be able to have clear sound like that so i can load more vids of me playin guitar. anyways 4 stars.

  • Thanks bro. I always like to keep it clean and accurate even if it means slowing the tempo down. I dont like sloppy shredders.

The guitar is plugged into a boss me-50 then the boss is plugged directly into PC soundcard (use the line-in socket not mic socket). I used cool edit pro to record the sound, you need to set the recording on your windows control panel to "wave" or "stereo mix", depends what card you have.

  • @7byseven

it´s not shred if you play it slow, so don´t do it or chose an easier one ;)

  • @Lemmy008 I prefer slow and clean better than fast and sloppy, i like to hear the notes not the players ego.

  • @7byseven

why do you pick pieces of shredders, especially from malmsteen? his ego is bigger then the studio of shrapnel records, but his pieces have to be at over 170bpm, that´s his trademark. ;) and if you prefer a clean tone and slow, accurate playing, a shred piece is the wrong thing.

  • you are intelligent

  • If you got a wizard neck and installed a handle in the body, you could pass it off as a JEM... oh yea and you gotta get an edge pro... I put a floyd on mine instead of the stock that comes with the rg350

  • nice cover! i have some questions about gear tho, would you recommend that guitar and wheres your distortion coming from?

  • thanks. the RG350 was a great guitar. apparently the bridge is made of a cheaper alloy than the more expensive models thats why its so cheap, and some people have reported their bridge has snapped on them. only problem is with all floating bridges its not fun to re-string and tune up so i wouldnt recommend one unless you insist on having a floating trem. the infinity pickups are amazing for stock.

  • thanks! and good job once again

  • distortion comes from BOSS ME50 effects processor.

  • I like playing that with my thumb, not as fast though :(

  • thanks

cheers mate it was an ibanez rg350 yea

i slowed it down cos im crap. i hardly ever play guitar but i liked these new scales at the time.

  • good performance man!

i'd like to know what's your guitar?

  • its good dude, but need more speed the trik i use to play the same song is do hammer ons and pull offs in the notes of the main riff =) (nice ibanez)

  • you need to play it faster but its good how did you learn it

  • Nice. Ibanez RG350EX, have the same guitar. great job btw

  • Arpeggios from heaven!
