@Dragonmace1000 epic story telling, and a and hand full of original quest, is fine, but the end game content is what makes or breaks an MMO, and Wotlk was lacking in raids and pvp, ulduar was a faint spark of hope, and ICC was a thin bread slice, but all in all it sucked getting to level 80 and it sucked once you got there.

@Visser0x True but wows lore has kinda been going down the drain since cataclysm, wow is suppost to be a medieval game with swords and shields, now with gnomes and goblins it seems like we see more guns, cannons, and flying ships in the game than anything else... Not saying it doesn't make sense for those things to be in the game since they are the two "smart" races in wow, but i think all the technology should only go towards a limit and not interfere with the medieval part of the.game.

I think my favorite two parts of this cinematic are the entrance of the Vrykul and the Horde riding in.

When the Vrykul screamed in their native language I actually could see the fear run through the crowd of the Alliance. It was pretty intense to see the Vrykul look THAT threatening for once.

As for the Horde, what can I say? The entirety of them sounded like a massive drum just overrunning the enemies as they all screamed "FOR THE HORDE!". Epic shot through my veins at that point.

...and as much as I still enjoy this game, I miss WOTLK...it had the best theme imo. And for some reason, Arthas just FELT like more of a character than Deathwing. Sure, Deathwing made some damage to the world, but you rarely got to see him and there was no epic cinematics made in quests about him. He didn't show up unexpected in some questline (I shat bricks in Howling Fjord in that Vrykul Village by the Alliance starting town when he was standing there) and undead = scarier than elementals.

@Evision5 if you played the worgan starting zone you would know that windrunner has a dislike for the orc and the rest of the horde, garrosh ask hem specificly not to use plague in the battle for gilneas but as soon as the orc commander leaves she goes right behind the horde's back and uses it anyway. The forsaken blood evles and goblins are only in the horde for their self benefit.

DOnt know what Putress's goals were, but probbaly for power in the undercity. He betrayed his fellow undead by plotting alongside the dreadlord Varimathras to do a coup against the Banshee Queen so that Varimathras could bring the Demonic Burning Legion into Azeroth to destroy it. Before either Putress or Varimathras could pose too much of a danger however, they were killed by the Horde and Alliance repectively.

If you even raided back then, you would know how easy most fights where. Bosses mostly challenged one role if even that.

Further on, class balance was also terrible and the game was just a long grind.

I sort of agree with you regarding the epics. But bear in mind, the stuff you get from the dungeons is worth little because the time you invest in it is negligible. To be fair tho, The t12 hc head is the most epic feeling regarding loot I have ever had in this game. Easily surpassing even getting my full t2 set. Bout 500 whipes on hc Rag explain this.

Raiding epics still feel epic because you put in a lot of time to get them, dungeon epics? Not so much.

If you look closely, it's a plague mixed with acid that was melting the living and the undead, those who tried the northrend zones during Cataclysm. Putress and Varimanthras created a splinter group and pushed out Sylvanas, and the forsaken from Undercity, this caused the alliance to push toward conquering the Undercity, and the horde to try to reclaim, Varian Kills Putress, while Sylvanas and Thrall kill Varimanthras reclaiming the undercity.

This makes no sence. It is completely random. First an Allience leader arrives adn goes straight to battle then Gromash comes down with the Horde and they fight side by side to kill the undead. Then Arhtas comes out and reseructs his warriors that had true death. Then for no reason the Forsaken arrive and launch plauge on the Allience and Horde. Then Arhtas retreats and dragons come and burn down the Forsaken machines

Arthas resurrected DIFFERENT corpses, as well as the ones that were not damaged enough to be useless. You have to remember, the Lich King is, for all intents and purposes, a god. Arthas showed up because he was challenged and to demoralize the armies. The Forsaken took the initiative to ATTEMPT revenge. Arthas COULD have died, if not for his indomitable will.
