@ang3803 That's because the video has annotations, you might want to let it load and turn them on, so you can see all the annotations and read all the information. That's... kind of the whole point of the video XD
@vicric44 Turn on the annotations, the video is self explanatory with them. And depends what you use, actually most of them are prescription medicines or used for meditation and relaxation, the minority are names after drug effects (like cocaine or heroine, which don't get you high or addicted, you just feel the effects of the real thing but less harder since it's not addicting).
@JZUS25 Did you see the vid with annotations? W/o them the vid is pretty pointless; what I'm trying to explain here is what they are/look like and how they work, in layman's terms. There's also been alot of rumors that they're just a "digital substitute" of the actual drug and that they can be as equally as addicting, which is false since most addictions are caused by physical need of that certain feeling you get.
That's pretty much it, give or take a few details.
If you do not believe, it'll never work. If your subconcious mind is constantly bombarded with skepticism and negativity, it will adopt that idea, and the binaural beats will be uneffective. Its basic pshycological knowledge. Obviously, this beat won't work since it was recorded in mono audio, it stops, and the actual beat is 30 minutes long. Make some research, you'd be surprised.
@Void10901 "If you do not believe, it'll never work" yes that's what you call A PLACEBO! seriously, you are uneducated as all hell. Real drugs don't "not work" just because you don't think they will, because real drugs have an actual effect not just imaginary.
@videosfromderelix If you look at my previous posts, I'm actually re-affirming that is IS a placebo effect, however the fact that the person is skeptic merely rendeers it null and void, considering that the mind has already adapted to a certain way. And once more, people shouldn't compare real drugs to binaural beats, they are not the same, nor they ever will. I'm sorry, but you should really read the the whole conversation before staring to infer things.
@Void10901 So I need to read every comment you ever posted or took interest in before being "allowed" to respond to your uneducated rants? No thanks. Tone down the sense of entitlement.
You said you would feel the effects of the drugs, this is false. You don't feel the effects of cocaine from the cocaine track, people just pretend they do because they believe they will.
That's what a placebo is. You claimed it only works when you believe in it, well no it won't, the effect isn't real.
@Void10901 A person being a skeptic does not make the test "null and void" and you would understand this if you read the post you responded to.
If it was a real effect (as in, not imaginary or pretend) it doesn't matter if he doesn't believe in it but on that note, how do you explain the fact that he seems to think it worked a little? Oh I get it, you didn't finish the video before posting your rant. Good show narcissist.
@videosfromderelix I completely agree with you on your second paragraph, the binaural beats only work if you believe in them, aka placebo. What I referred to as being skeptic; the problem consists that the binaural beats work psychologically, contrasting against the real drug, which has actual chemistry and affects directly and immediately. Again, I re-state, the effects of the binaural beats are not, or will ever be the same to those of the actual drug.
@videosfromderelix Psychology can affect how someone receives and perceives the effects of the placebo, which is kinda obvious, taking in consideration the meaning of placebo. As the video says, they might or might not work depending on how the person sees it, because this is all a matter of psychological reception. Aka: the effects are fully dependent on the person, regardless on how "strong" the wavelength is. I also fail to see how this makes me a narcissist.
@Void10901 I called you a narcissist because you had to post a rant (As if what you had to say was so important) before finishing the video, not because I disagree with you.
@videosfromderelix Unfortunately these placebo tests have been tested and proven by a document iDoser itself had done (biggest, if not only producer of working binaural beats), and as a fair warning onto the demo it explicitly states that it "may or my not work".
I know what I meant with what I've said, I'm terribly sorry if there has been some sort of horrible misunderstanding here.
@Void10901 Right you know what you meant, yet you missed the point. You said "the reason it didn't work is because you didn't believe in it" and as I pointed out, he didn't say it had no effect. If you finished the video, you would know this.
@Void10901 haha, I replied to the wrong person ON THE WRONG VIDEO. That is....funny. I can't believe a mistake stretched on this long.
I was obviously trolling you regardless (or trying to) but it kind of goes off the rails when I'm on the wrong argument XP
Thanks for playing though, you're a good sport so I'll find a good ol fashioned moron to argue with, doing it with intelligent human beings is no fun.

@Void10901 If you're open to the idea that something will have an effect, it will have an effect. It's called the placebo effect.
