Each boxer has a different quick method of getting them in a dizzy animation. It has nothing to do with hacking. You just need to find the pattern. Unstunned punches and counter-punching tend to help.

Yes, Rick is correct. I've had the game on the SNES since 1995 and every fighter does have a "dizzY animation. I'm not sure about the Bruiser bros., though.

Tactic -> 6 high punches from left [if u are fast enough he won't block your 6th punch], one high punch from right, LEFT power punch and now he is stunned at 0'6'22. Last Left power punch and i have 0'6'47.

Same as yours. If done correctly, you can land that last SuperH (Super Hook) in 0'00"14 from when he is dizzy to the final knockout. So in theory, the best time could be 0'06"36.

I hope you are talking about the SNES version, because if you do, I will go ahead and try this ASAP. Fast times in emulator are not considered official World Records. :)

I do the exact same thing...5 lefts, 2 rights...one big punch. He gets dazed and I nail him with another one but his health doesn't go all the way down...why is this?

It's all about the timing of that last super punch. Gabby Jay is a bit tricky to speed run because of that punch. You have to wait a hair longer than you think you should in order to get that last hit in.

As a small aside, I have a bit of trouble with Glass Joe in the NES Punch Out. Not because he's difficult, but because I'm used to dodging fast. Glass Joe pulls off his moves so slow. In the time it takes me to dodge and return, he's throwing his punch and hitting me. XD
