It's one thing to make a sequel to a classic and another to make a parody, but it's a whole other different situation when you make a remake, especially into a TV series. Why try and twist everything around and cause us to forget the legacy of the original actor of any movie for that matter! Don't you want classics to be remembered? I'm not trying to insult people but movies are called classics for a reason. I'll still watch it to see how it is, but original classic movies ftw.

WHY, WHY ??? All the best movies are being remade...Fame, Footloose and now this! It's going to be SUCH a fail. OH GOD, now loads of kids will never know the original. GOD! You just can't try and live up to stuff like that. Plus, I know that neither of the girls in this can act. And Chace Crawford's in Footloose... this is kinda gay, just saying. disney channel is the known TV network for stealing other ideas, and re-making shit because they can't come up with anything creative. ABC family has always been a unique program, with unique and creative shows. Making a series based on the movie is not creative, and is ruining it. When kids grow up they won't remember 10TIHAY the movie, they'll remember the TV show. How pathetic. I swear if someone re-makes something like the breakfast club. I'll sue!
