In the beginning, I start with the pedal pushed down, when changing chord, i quickly lift the pedal and quickly push it down again. But always do that directly AFTER, not before, you have pushed down the chord/note (and you must do it while the chord/note is pushed down, even if it's just an eigth note for example), or the flow will be disturbed. I know there are not so many actual CHORDS in this song, but rather "broken" ones. But you can still hear it.
@brenoldt Just practise ;) Play slow first. At least I think it's easier if you learn both hands at the same time, goes much quicker.
But I will maybe do a tutorial on this. But if you have not noticed, I play a part of the ending wrong, because I was so tired of the song, so I didn't bother learning it. So it's not going to be a tutorial on the WHOLE song, but almost. :P
I have been playing regularly since august, when I got that piano. But I have played similar instruments before then, like organs and keyboards. But that's really not the same thing, it was kind of hard for me in the beginning to transfer to a piano; many more keys, pedals and you also have to think about how hard you push them. But I have played similar instruments since I was... 8, maybe?
fantastic performance! im trying to learn it but i was wondering how do you use the sustain pedal in this song?
