yes indeed. he said "hindi mo expected" and not " i did not expected"; however, did he say "COPE UP"? Perhaps that explains why he got 1.25 at English :-). anyway, i still think he's smart but he shouldn't be given too much attention just because he's from up. I'm sure there are other individuals from other schools who are just as smart or even smarter.

di porke taga up matalino na. i've met quite a few up grads who failed miserably in cognitive and contextual analysis. there are an average number of bad eggs in every learning institution. to conclude that all up students are intelligent is nothing but a fallacy.

@gmanews and to others: yes moriel01 is right. sabi niya sa isang interview ng GMA rin po yung "I did not expected". I think that was in the State of the Nation interview, not sure. Pero that doesn't matter anymore kung ikukumpara sa lahat ng nagawa niya diba :).

@moriel01 The fact na pumasa kang UP, the fact na nag aaral ka sa UP, the fact na nakapag tapos ka ng UP, kahit anong kurso pa yan. There is no doubt, kahit na sabihin mo pang pag Genius ka sa Math, eh Bobo ka sa english, bakit wala bang english sa UPCAT?
