@laydeeNoir yep thats the link. u need to copy the file to the fl studio data file, which is C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 9\Data\Patches\Soundfonts . then when u open fl studio u can find the files on the side bar on the left under sound fonts.

The synth is 3xOSC, but of course that didn't answer your question. You should look his video Fruity Loops In Minutes #6 and there he's showing how to make a synth like that. Just play a bit with it and you get it. =)

open up where you installed fruityloops and put it in the soundfonts folder. it should be a sf2 file and go into fruity loops and find it in soundfonts. i really hope that helped.

ok sure go to image-line, fl studio, data, patches, and in there there should be the soundfonts folder. just put them in there. oh and the folder that says fl studio, there should be a version number in front of it, like i have fl studio 8, so my folder says fl studio 8, but i don't know what version yours is. more than likely its fl studio 8. hope that helped.

FL studio 8 got the most built-in now, sytrus, soundfont player, etc. but the only thing that is not free in it is probably tocixIII and poizone.

talent is one part of beat making and the sounds is the other. you could be a good beat maker but with crappy sounds it is real difficult to make somethings sound good enough.

you need to update seriously, automation clips are really useful from version 5 on.

and VSTi are useful, but if you learn to configure the 3xOSC you can pretty much get any sound :P
