Though, it does look more street fights but they have some technique to get them somewhere. I also know that a lot of mix martial art moves are banned out in ufc, mma and pride because it has dangerous moves that they won't allow it in ufc, mma and pride.

In my opinion, MMA will never be a "sport" because it's nothing but a combination OF sports. Judo, Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Wrestling, so on and so forth. If someone wanted to create a sport where football players passed around a basketball, people would laugh at it.

Second off, MMA wasn't even originally intended to be a combination of sports. It was simply meant to be the sport of unarmed fighting. I think if MMA is going to be a "sport", there needs to be regulations. All fights need to take place in a cage and all those need to be the same shape. About the same size. The only thing about PRIDE fighters fighting in a ring is a ring promotes fighters to stand-up. A cage works more to the advantage to a fighter who is good on the ground.
