  • this is macchiatto.

    Very basic video.

  • thats not enough micro foam..

  • haha..this video sucks! doesnt even look like a latte..so pale..not creamy..and what happen to that 1cm cream layer theory?

  • That looks great. I have figured out the best way to make a latte at coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com

  • CEBO espresso coffee machine!!

  • i umm could never do BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO STEAM MILK!

  • Let's see... Expert Village, let's break that down: Ex -meaning past tense, old or no long viable (usable; for you illiterate Obamunists), spert- like a drip of water or more like a dork- a penis projectile, let's see Village- like it takes a village by Billery Clinton the Village Idiot! Sooo let's get this right your being sponsored by Old Drippy the Village Idiot. I'd say she fits the bill perfectly, WOW whooda thunk it! Maybe you could just use a little more HOPE and CHANGE in your cafe.

  • Looks like Barack Obamanomics is hitting pretty HARD in the Old Brick Cafe, I guess you didn't get stimulated by his package either!? She would definitely get hired at HOOTERS, yes definitely, definitely there at HOOTERS, definitely.

  • Hey rottineggg, the only swirling going on is in her head, because the shot she just pulled is sitting there in a cold glass getting bitter while she's steaming milk. You ALWAYS pull your shots last. What is this, the Red Green show on how to make Bitterista Expesto, what's next... you breaking out the Duct Tape to make an Origami porta filter? Mmmm nothing says sweet crema like 3M baby! Maybe she should use the Duct Tape to make pasties, ya'll cood sur use da biddness.

  • @kishbud hahahaha!!!! love it..

its funny how there IS a difference between a barista, and 'some chick who makes coffee'

shes a shit barista, and i wouldn't pay to drink that.. let alone be paid to drink it.

  • @kishbud ive never actualy had anyone make any sence of my username

  • Oh my lord! What a monstrosity. She needs to explain this correctly. First of all, steaming milk for a latte does need to be stretched. I agree with the fact that you should not over stretch your foam, but learn what your drinks are before you pour them. Plus, although this is an instructional video, she should explain that you should be steaming milk as you watch your shots. This chick doesn't see her flaws in this video?

  • Si querés yo te enseño a preparar el mejor cafe con leche del mundo en la mitad del tiempo que vos ocupás.

  • aaaaand you're fired

  • GOOGLE STOP SHOWING ADDDDDD

  • slow, boring.. you take too long, imagine if you had a line of customers.. mind, with a coffee like that, probly wont be a line for them.

  • the latte looked great... shes doing it slow because its an instructional video as you can see the shop is closed so why worry about a line of customers? shes off work she dosent have to hurry the most she has to do is clean up a little more wich it looks like shes already done other then what she has just made

  • @rtrxggg if you think that looks like a great latte, you have been seriously misguided.. the milk is too thin, the ratio is out, the way shes tamping will give her back problems and a seriously sore arm.. especially if shes making 200+ cups a day. Not to mention-because this is an instructional video, it should be done correctly, and it just blatently isn't. I have been a barista for quite a few years; I am not a layman when it comes to coffee, but thank you for your concern

  • @hotsalvation101 i see your point and in this you are right i admit my mistake and apoligize for it.

  • Geesh people, were talking about coffee here not neuroscience. Chill coffee snobs..

  • thats a shit latte

  • Letting the shot sit out for anymore than 7-10 seconds is like, the first thing you're NOT supposed to do. Nice job.

  • shes doing an instructional video the shop is closed what dose she care if the shot is cold or stale? noones there to drink it stupid

  • @rtrxggg Oh, I don't know, because it's an instructional video and the point is to do it right? Hello?

  • she did do it right would you wrather her hurry along and not stop to explain any of it or make sure that you can see what she was doing or would you like to be able to see what shes doing and learn how to make it yourself obviusly you cant do it any better then she can otherwise you have no reson to even be watching the video in the first place instead of complaining about the video you should be thinking her for taking the time out of her day to even make it

  • @rtrxggg No, I'd rather her do it right since this is an instructional video. And I do know how to do it, thank you. I forgot: I'm not allowed to look at how other people do it to compare methods and know which ones are wrong. Screw you.

  • @rtrxggg the point is. If you're instructing someone to do something. Show them the right way, the reasons why its done the way its done, therefore.. eliminating confusion and SHIT COFFEE.

  • I like that term "knob." Now if I only knew what it meant.

  • a knob refers to the tip of a males penis. when talking about someone being a knob

  • Now that would burn if you put it in a latte. lol

  • I wouldnt want to drink that after I saw the shot sitting there the whole time.

    Who the hell does that?

  • she stands way to still when making the steam milk, its pretty creepy

  • I was only offering my opinion and since my shop has stolen away many Starbucks customers because of the way I do things, I think it is good advice. Pulling the espresso and just letting it sit for 30 seconds will oxidate it. But hey, I am a knob..whatever that is.

  • whats oxidate?

  • yeah... that's a shit ton of milk. Expert Village sucks with videos. They never explain things well... like 'hi, i'm going to show you how to fly a plane. the first step is to turn on the plane' K great thanks...how do i do that?

  • No duh its a lot of milk, what do you think a latte is?

Also, they dont show you how to pour the espresso and froth the milk becuase they have other videos on how to do it....

  • exactly infact the italian word latte means milk

  • Comment removed

  • @kellydee1056 I have to agree with you. I know it's only coffee but really, the video is terrible.

  • In reply to below, shes grinding on demand, that is there is no ground coffee in the dose chamber when she starts she just keeps clicking to get the freshly ground coffee, most places just keep the chamber full of coffee, but this promotes coffee staleness as once it's ground it starts going stale in a couple of minutes,

Anyway ordinary latte, man thats ALOT of milk :(

  • since theres very little air in the dose chamber would that allow it more time to not go stail? if you were working a coffee stand and got a bunch of business at once you could fill the dose chamber and be alright, right?

  • what was she cranking? You should only need to pull once if your grinder is properly set!

And really, pull the shot AFTER you steam the milk. A few seconds is all it takes to ruin a nice espresso! Also, pour the milk and espresso into the cup together as to mix them evenly.

  • Bluekarma, you are a knob.
