If you have to know, I was a Munitions System Specialist (AMMO Troop)... We handled all the missiles, bombs and bullets for the A-10 aircraft during the war... And by the way the officers get paid more so maybe they should be the ones to go out and fight.... Don't blame the Air Force to having smarter enlisted people. Believe me I like the Army, their Patriot's guarded my base and we had 1000's encamped around our base for the bulk of the war.
I work of a Non-profit that helps disadvantaged people. I don't make much but people don't work for non-profits for money...
And just for your info, ATF offered me a job when I retired because of my expertise with explosives and safety related to explosive, I didn't want to move to Georgia to take it though...
