The current AMG A63 is an Antique in design compared to current M5!!! It used to several years back have a very little slight edge in standing 1/4, and sounded throatier, but that was it. It literally cornered like a Camry and brakes were sub-par at best compared to M5. Now the M5 is in a category of it's own all together!

the car may look 10 times better than the old m5 E60, but even that is a matter of taste, but i am really disappointed of BMW's recent releases.......i had a test-drive in one of the new bmw f10s and it was so dull....yes, its fast, but the speed just feels sooo boring, the gear changes....super dull.....and the sound ..... just soooo boring compared to the old m5. Yes its a joy to drive, all bmw's are. but its just not fun to drive.

Damn, not very loud at all. AMG V8 motors seem to have much more of a growl than this. Maybe the turbos muffle the sound too much? The previous M5 was louder and yet also managed to be quiet on the freeway. I think BMW could have spent a little more time on the sound instead of trying to pump it into the cabin via the stereo.

However (as you may not be familiar with the physics of sound) if you stand outside of the cabin, near the exhaust, you'll still hear the REAL exhaust note (which is what you are hearing here). Now, I don't mean to be condescending (meaning I sound smarter than you) but what you hear here is the real exhaust note, not some reproduced engine noises. Thank you, and good day sir.
