  • Feliz seria que hora. This song is so under rated. It's amazing how Claudio Sanchez writes.

  • I'm a native spanish speaker, and literally his saying: Happy would what hour. What he actually meant to express? My guess is something like: Happy at (in) what hour?. Epic song by the way!

  • @FenrirsWulf Literally it means "Happy I will be, at what hour?"

    Feliz = happy

    seria = I would be

que hora = at what hour?

The English equivalent would be "When will I be happy?"

Anywho, I love the sick bass at towards the end of this song. The subtle sounds and little phonic treasures in this track are best-enjoyed through a high-fidelity audio system or good headphones. Happy listening. :))

  • Pretty epic ^_^

  • "Happy would be that hour" there you go. That's my take on the translation.

  • no no no, you guys got it all wrong. I translate "Feliz seria que hora" as "how happy was the hour" I know it's not gramatically correct for you native speakers, but that's what popped in my head at first. Literally translated, it would be "happy would be the hour" so ya, that's my added opinon =P

  • @Snowball337 haha good guess, but i have a guess too. coz how is como which doesn't exist in the phrase, so probably it's "i would be happy now"

  • @franhound ah...ya that's probably right.

  • @franhound legal

  • This song gives me goosebumps. every single time

  • there should be a drug named after Coheed And Cambria

  • @franhound its called the amory wars

  • It's literally "Happy would be what hour"; it's a pretty awkwardly worded phrase.

  • .........6 people better run like little maggots.

  • Happy would such an hour be.

  • Little maggots 'til they learn of what you did... Great song,

  • 2:50 - 4:28. OMG fucking goosebumps every time!!!

  • Feliz sería que hora

    the proper translation is

    Happy hours would be

bump it up so we can all know :D

  • @kinglaharl11881 I hear it as "Feliz seria que ahora" which would be "Happy would I be that now..." or something like that.

WE NEED TO ASK CLAUDIO LOL

  • @ViralJuggernaut oh i was translating fro mthe lyrics section

  • i heard que dice dia,que hora" if i spelled that right, what day is it,what hour

  • #thejaycefish every song in every album they made*

  • Is it just me but does anyone else hear a "Achilles Last Stand" vibe from 6:47 to the end?

  • gotta love this bass!

  • It's sad most people only know Welcome Home from this albulm. They don't bother to listen to the Willing Well songs, Crossing the Frame, Mother May I, etc. Hell, all the songs on the albulm are amazing...

  • am i the only person that thinks the 4 willing well tracks are some of the most underrated pieces of emotionally driven art we've seen in music for a long time? coheed are so under appreciated, it makes me mad.

  • Did this vocalist jump out from any japonese cartoon ? if you mix up all the emotional core bands around the world and try to add some metal like guitars you get this really bad stufff

  • @iguigo Wtf are you talking about, this isn't even remotely Japanese.

  • @MeetTheCryptid he's just goin on different vids n trollin n stuffs, just ignore im, for penguins can fly and walruses eat walnuts.

  • @SkyCloudN64 haha, yeah, I usually do ignore trolls, but this guy seemed legit

  • @iguigo You can burn in hell, sir.

  • at around 2:59 and 3:04 there's a faint whispery vocal in the background as he's singing. Does anyone know what he's saying there if anything?

  • I have no idea of why this song is stuck in my head i haven't listen to this band in years

  • Goddamn, this may be my favorite Coheed song ever. final 3 minutes just make this the most amazing thing I've ever heard. The lead line at 5:20 is amazingly perfect.

  • "feliz seria que hora" is actually an ancient metal term for " Coheed and Cambria is the God of metal" \m/

  • I love 2:37

  • Epic song

  • i didnt realize till now that the abums name is good apollo and my amv thing in wich i used a song from this album includes a charecter named apollo...........ok now im just cunfusing myself..........goodbye

  • its so weird to hear these old songs.. almost feels like im right back in class or on the bus listening to my i-pod :)

  • Feed little maggots off the Westside of your sin

Run little maggot when they learn of what you did!(2x)

    I <3 that part!!!

  • 2:12! love the octave vocals!

  • Lol, Guys if you read feliz seria que hora, Im not sure if im right or if you guys are, but it Sounds like a quesiton que meaning what, but when yoiu say it in the way it is here, it possibly means, " When will happiness be?" Something around those lines. Not sure, just inputting my opinion.

  • 2:12 = EPIC

  • 3:44 - 4:27 is polyphonic gold...makes me feel like i could change the world - or at least my pants since I jizz everytime I hear that part.

  • Happy be the hour is translated "feliz sería LA hora". Claudio failed at his Spanish class. :/

  • coouuuuuld this be that hard for me , to configure a new love in vain

  • This song is a Prog masterpiece. Best song on the album!

  • that slap bass is painfully good :/ Is it a synth?

  • @HamburgerTrain11 Around 5:15? All Mic :)

  • The lyrics you have posted are all kinds of wrong.

  • hearing this at neverender was pretty much the highlight of my life<3333

  • definitely one of my favorite Coheed songs

  • omg... the bass

  • @OneOfTheFire Dude, Mics a real beast. I saw them on the gravemakers and gunslingers tour and he was thumpin the whole concert. If you look on youtube you can find a solo that he does at the end of "The Final Cut" where him and the keyboard player pull out Teen Town.

  • This has got to be the best Coheed and Cambria song ever.

  • why does the opening remind me of EarthBound? O_o

    Awesome song

  • i just saw coheed live and may i say it was the best experience in my life

  • Spanish is my native language and "feliz sería que hora" sounds confusing even to me. It's grammatically correct but as I see it, there's not a real meaning since it's not a whole sentence. In English, it could translate to something like "happy would be the hour..." and even then that's just me trying to give some sense to the phrase.

That is what the song says, the spelling is correct and just because "sería" sounds like "serious" doesn't mean it means that. It's like "you're" and "your".

  • @kassandralk well he's puerto rican and i know they speak spanish too but maybe its like an accent thing like the english have different phrases then americans do

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx i love his voice he's puerto rican

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx Are we really getting perplexed over Claudio using weird phrasing? This is the same song in which he says "Could depend on how coward I should act".

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx Claudio's Puerto Rican?

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx but subject verb agreement is the same in any language and "happy would be what hour" Doesn't make sense in any shape or form.

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx I'm puerto rican, and we have no phrase remotely similar to that. Like kassandralk said, it is very confusing since it's not a whole sentence.

  • @kassandralk The "hora" part got me confused, it's sounds like whore and they used that word a lot in this album, but just means hour.

  • @kassandralk that makes perfect sense to me. "happy would be the hour". he is talking about if she was dead..... at least that's how i see it, considering the subject matter and meaning of the entire album.

  • @kassandralk it makes perfect sense. he's talking about if she was dead, happy would be the hour. that's what the whole album is about.... deciding whether to kill her or not.

  • @kassandralk Im pretty sure that the phrase, "Feed little maggots off the Westside of your sin." Means that "Happy would be the hour" of these "maggots" are to feed on the subject's sin, which, if im correct is a rough translation of someone's karma catching up to them, and the person affected by the victim's negative attitude is enjoying that person wallowing in their own muck or "sin" in this case

  • @Skwizzles He says: Feed, little maggots off the west side of your city. Run, little maggots, 'til they learn of what you did

  • @kassandralk Well, it is very close to french-- a long which I'm adept in.

sera in french (similar to seria in spanish) means will be (the future tense of the verb to be).

in a complete sentence, the ending clause would include que (in french as well) heure (or in spanish, hora).

    So I believe kassandralk.

Alone, it is sort of oblong, but the phrase "Happy will be that hour" is in reference to the story, and the demise of Ambellina.

  • @kassandralk since when do their English lyrics even make perfect literal sense?

  • @kassandralk "Happy would be the hour" is about as close a translation i could think of or something along the lines of "what a joyful time".

    It's definitely a weird snippet.

  • @kassandralk from the basic understanding of latin that i do have, could it not mean 'what a time to be happy?'

then again i am probably way off as spanish isnt a language i am at all familiar with and my latin is a bit rusty

  • @kassandralk seria, sin tilde, no es lo mismo que sería. Seria = serious, sería = would be

  • @kassandralk

this might also have to do with the fact that the music is based off of their comics.. im not 100 percent positive this is true but thats what ive heard. maybe if you read the comics then it would make more sense

  • @kassandralk i think it means " i would be happy now "

  • so many dope transitions in this song.

It's good to see that there are still REAL Musician's left in this pop bullshit world

  • feliz seria que hora means happy would be what hour

  • faliz serria que hora not sure if i spelled it right but i don't speak or write spanish very well it means happy in this hour i think

  • @mightyhetfield22 it means happy be the hour

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx im pretty sure we are wrong about the lyrics feliz seria que hora i think its feliz sobre esta hora cause seria means serious and neither you or i used the word serious and if thats the case its happy on/in this hour happy be the hour is feliz sea la hora but like i stated before i dont speak spanish very well at all so i dont know i used a translator like 5 of em lol

  • @mightyhetfield22 translators arent good for sentences because they mess up the way words are used

  • @Kyuubinuyasha there are translators for phrases and stuff and i know they are not pefect but i used several of them and they all came pretty close to saying the same things

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx Google translator said it is "happy hours would be".

  • @montogeman Translators on the internet are shit, and don't change thetranslation of the word depending on placement and grammar, which is heavily relied on in spanish.

It's "Happy would be the hour", which in OLD English is proper grammar; and if you're a Coheed fan, you know Old English is used every 3 seconds.

  • @HybridGamingNation Whenever I think of old English, it goes all of the way back to the stuff you literally need a translator for....

  • @KhamnNacuri "If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?"

That right there is a good example of Old English.

Old English = English that was used dominantly in the middle ages on, until around the 1800's.

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx I believe that it means "What time would be good for you?" Yeah it's long but listen, the literal translation would be "happy would be what time?" You understand me?

  • @xxTheHellTriggerxx *happy would be the hour is what i got out of it

  • pls help COHEED and CAMBRIA BEAT TOKIO HOTEL.

VOTE COHEED in MTV MARCH MADNESS

    h t t p : / / n e w s r o o m . m t v . c o m

    thank you

  • i don't think there's a single comment on the page right now that's not a solid paragraph about josh vs pennie right now...except this one

  • @alriooreo pennie and josh are awesome, and you didnt say anything about there bassist? hes one of the best out there.

  • ii agree!! Good Apollo was one of the best albums, not that i dont like the other ones caause i do, but this album has lots of rythm, and it doesnt have screaming or nothing, but i do like screaming, but this is my favorite band EVER! there the first rock band i ever heard and Loved

    .:RASTAGURL:.

  • for some reason I only enjoy this of coheed and cambria's albums: Good Apollo, that is. I feel like their first albums are very rough and I just cant get into the jam with them. With this one though, the jam is just so attainable and its the fucking most intense jam created, without the cheap use of screaming, ive ever experienced.

  • GOD DAMN IT, both drummers are good, and even if Coheed didn't have a drummer it would still be one of the best and most creative bands out there, can't we just agree on that?

  • god fucking dammit, i go to this page because this is my favorite coheed song and all i see is this drummer shit. pennie is good, i saw him live at bonnaroo. josh is good, listen to any of his coheed tracks and it'll be obvious. now shut the fuck up

  • the drumming has always been coheeds weakest area. ive always had a problem with the drum production on their albums. which is a shame because the vocals n guitar production are pretty ace, especially on this record.

  • Lol more Josh vs Pennie stuff. The are both good drumers with there own flare thrown in the mix. Honestly, Coheed as a whole is soooooo fucking amazing, Josh and Pennie can BOTH suck and the band will still be the best band ever.

  • To those who say Pennie can't drum, purchase the Neverender DVD and watch Night III when they play Final Cut. He unleashes an amazing solo that will convince anyone that he can at least drum, if not drum better than the old one.

  • @sasukehokage13

To those who say pennie cant drum,go listen to the broken xD

  • Both are good, But I'll go with Pennie since he's more badass coming out of a mathcore band.

  • Old matey is right.... Josh carved!

  • Im just sayin', their drumming styles are completely different, and if you listen to when the new drummer plays the songs that Josh Eppard was druming on, he can't keep the technicality of the rythem.

  • @MrColmCostigan What in the hell is the "technicality of the rythem"?

  • He cant keep the same beats that he had. If you listen to the live songs now, the drum beats are even close to as good as they used to be when Josh was playing.

  • @MrColmCostigan Could you link to an example?

  • AWSOME!!!!!!

  • Their drummer right now isn't bad though.

  • These guys are flippin briliant! The only problem is that they don't have Josh Eppard in the band anymore, he is in the top ten best drummers of all time, too bad for drugs. :(

  • What part of the story in The Amory Wars does the Willing Well take place?

  • @nb970 its not in the amory wars, necessarily. well, kind of. it is in the real world, with the writer of the story. so throughout the whole amory wars, possibly. but, the willing wells mark the END of the amory wars. when the writer enters through the willing well, and ends the story, and also his pain. cause his pain dies with the death of ambellina.

  • so at this point the Writer ends the story. but what about Good Apollo IV Vol.2: No World For Tomorrow? That is still part of the Amory Wars correct cause that is when Claudio and the IRO-Bots take over Favor House Atlantic and bring down Wilhelm Ryan. Or is the Willing Well just from the Writer's perspective and decides that his pain and suffering involved with the story has ended and in turn decides to finish the story knowing that.

  • @nb970 well, vol 1 is the writers prespective, vol 2 is the keyworks perspective. because at the time writer is struggling with his pain, and the desicion to end the story, claudio and the iro-bots are storming favor house atlantic. its all happening at the same time. the willing wells and the end completes are essentially the same thing, just different prespectives.

  • oh okay gotcha thanks @666bloodyxhell666 that makes more sense

  • I believe this is around the time the writing writer is going into the story?

  • 5:20,pay attention to travis's guitar line...i KNOW ive heard that somewhere....im thinking end of mother superior? O.o

  • @IAmTheWar FFFF- You're right o.o That's the exact riff. I didn't even notice that at first! You've got a good ear :D

  • :P well,i just started getting into this album not long ago,and i had been deep into nwft for the longest time,so i had heard mother superior way more than this song, and that line stood out :P

  • The fiction will see the real!

  • feliz seria que hora!!!

  • hah, that and the part before are my favorite parts :D It just sounds so COOL! xD

  • 5:01 is awesome and so tight.

  • 6:55 BEAUTIFUL

  • 4:26. BEST. PART. EVER.

  • 3:15 is the best chorus ever. I love Coheed and Cambria.

  • LMAO, thts funny!!!

    XDDD

  • I love all Coheed's work but the Willing Wells are my favorite. Half an hour of pure epic.

  • this is what it says, "Feliz sería que hora" which means happy be the hour in spanish

  • my spanish teacher took care of that for me lol, when i was in school, he listenened to it and said definately happy be the hour so listen to this guy ^^^

  • no, what he says means, "happy be the hour". u are close tho, i cant remember exactly what he says in spanish but it means, "Happy be the hour"

  • 4:02 makes me cum

  • Watching his tale with the words he unfolds

Conscience and cold we'd never know

They scream as he laughs off the dust from his eyes

These words will now learn of the dreams in his mind

definately my fav part probably of any coheed song

  • 2:39 whats that spanish and what does it mean?

  • From start to finish

    I made you feel this

    Discomfort in turn

    With the world youve learned

    To love through this hate

    To live with its weight

A burden discerned with the blood you taste

thats the best part of the song.

  • Chris is good, but damn, Josh...

  • With the quickness strike out for the less of us doubt

Mercy of the man who put the pen in our mouth

Word write us well signed, "Forgiveness for sale"

    I'm through being full

Of all the might you want killed

The fiction will see the real

    The answer will question still

In your body and blood as your parents once wept. You will follow their lead one by one, every step

favorite part of the song. xD

  • Feliz sería que hora!~

  • Claudio Is A Rock God of our time, End of story.

Im sure no one here Will Disagree

  • I don't disagree, but he's not a god, I got shit for saying he's not god. But he is a rock god of our generation.

  • holy crap! 21 approvals! i was number 21 8)

  • @thecrystal28 I will, just to be the jackass who does disagree with you. I don't though. I just did it for the lolz

  • Comment removed

  • i just had an orgasim in my whole body

  • "Feliz Seria Que Hora?" Translates to

"Happy It would be that hour."

    Right after The Maggots

Not sure why But I Love that Part :D

  • it literally translates to that... but makes more sense as "what a great hour would that be"

  • Happy it would be that hour sound like something claudio would say in a song though lol

  • Omg thats my favorite part too. I love the feeling that part of the song gives me. Gives me chills.

  • love the bass

  • I love their 6min+ songs like this.

  • this is the best prog cause of the voice

  • and the guitars and the bass and the drums

  • what is the name of this song? becouse i wrote willing well like willing well and writing writer. But i got this song?

  • ok, it's:

The Willing Well I: Fuel for the Feeding End

The last four songs on the album are in the series "The Willing Well," and there are four of them. They all have sub-titles, as follows:

Track 12. Willing Well I (WW I): Fuel for the Feeding End

Track 13. WW II: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

Track 14. WW III: Apollo II: The Telling Truth

Track 15. WW IV: The Final Cut

I think you're looking for this:

Track 6. Apollo I: The Writing Writer

  • final cut is the second best between no world for tomorrow and hound of blood and rank

  • Intro is trippy. :P

  • shot out to all my little maggots.

  • Dude, that is the best part of the song.

  • No it's "Feliz seria que hora?"

  • yup it is :) damn! i love this song!!

  • This is what rock music is all about

  • i never would have thought i would learn to love this.

  • Lol why is that?

  • i have heard alot of alternative music and i can dig it. but this here is something else. its like driving really fast or kicking alot of ass.

  • This,my friend,is progressive rock ;)

  • isn't it just the best fuckin genre out there?

    <3333

  • Hell yeah dude! Coheed,Mars Volta,Pink Floyd,Yes,King Crimson,Saga....some of the best musicians we've ever seen
