  • Sexuality is a drive, not a choice.

Repressing sexuality leads only to socially inappropriate behavior like lechery, molestation, and even rape.

  • @unkledanbot It's both. When a person becomes a Christian, it is not repression, it is delightful obedience.

  • @theist77 Repression is repression whether it is voluntary or not.

Repression is harmful whether you delight in it or not.

Thought control is unhealthy whether it is enforced from within or from without.

  • @unkledanbot We'll agree to disagree. You are way off.

  • @theist77 You cannot make me agree to disagree.

If you disagree with something to the point where you feel it is 'way off' then submission to disagreement betrays either a lack of conviction in your beliefs or an acknowledgement of the validity of the alternative.

So, are you afraid you are wrong or are you afraid I am right?

  • @unkledanbot Fair enough...I feel I cannot reason with you at this point. When you say something is absolutely so when it clearly is not, I find the conversation to be over.

  • @theist77 Oh well forgive the absolute tone of what I wrote.

I acknowledge the limits of my subjectivity so I cannot express anything in absolute terms, I cannot achieve absolute knowledge any more than you.

What I stated is based not on my opinion or belief. It is based on evidence and personal experience. My assertions are not absolute but they are the conclusions that I have reached personally which are supported by external evidence.

My attempt at brevity was not an exclusion of reason.

  • @unkledanbot Um no it does not. repressing sex when offering it up as a holy sacrifice (sincerely when no one is looking) is absolutely doable and leads to a whole and healthy life. That's like an obese person stating that if they don't eat fatty foods, it will lead them to starve to death. I did it.. went from being a promiscuous young woman & prayed and God put those desires to sleep. I devoted my whole life to God and after 9 yrs was married & enjoy healthy sex. So you are wroing!

  • @CoreOfMe 'absolutely doable and leads to a whole and healthy life'

It may well be doable but that does not make it healthy, mentally. Physical health is not an issue for female sexuality, that is true.

    'That's like an obese person'

This is a misleading comparison because obesity is not inborn and obesity does not drive one to eat fatty foods.

'after 9 yrs was married & enjoy healthy sex'

Good job finding a vent for your repressed sexuality! That is indeed a healthy way to live.

    'wroing!'

    Mmmhmm

  • @unkledanbot you choose the cynical perspective in life which shows how far away from believing truth. Most sexually deviant people were not born that way but born IN TO some sort of sexual, emotional, physical dysfunction. No one can help you trust Jesus IS more than enough but He is. A focused life helping others & applying scripture (like taking daily shower) The Word washes the soul daily. I climbed my mountain & whether think I did or not, still makes my success of it, all the more sweet :)

  • @unkledanbot correction - whether 'you' think I did it or not.... I will say that many people that may try to live celibate lives who do with for the wrong reason, will not succeed but once the heart falls in love with Jesus, you WANT to give that life up. And when you do, the reward of a peaceful 'i'm finally comfortable in my own skin without wearing shame everyday' , is truly a beautiful place to be. But hey....what do I know ;)

  • @CoreOfMe 'the cynical perspective in life which shows how far away from believing truth'

The optimist is more often happy but the pessimist is more often correct.

'Most sexually deviant people were not born that way'

This is dependent on your definition of sexual deviance, but you at least admit that some people are just born that way.

'No one can help you trust Jesus'

    Indeed.

    'A focused life helping others'

Is just as fulfilling without your brand of magic.

  • If I understand the Bible correctly, then even having thoughts (or chemical responses that I can't control) then I have already committed adultery. So if that is the case, why not just go all in for the sex if I am already accused, tried and convicted for the thoughts lol?

  • What bothers me are Christians who front and portray themselves as something they are not. Some of them are closet masturbaters. These hypocrites condemn others but watch porn and masturbate to it.

You're right. I can't see anyone walking in the spirit and engaging in masturbation. It's beyond me.

  • Can i say that the bible says nothing almost whatsoever about masturbation, it says a lot more about lust, and how you shouldn't fantasize. So surely for example if one was feeling lustful and perhaps feeling that they may go and sin by having sex with someone who they weren't married to or whatevr, it would be alright to masturbate to get their mind off of the lustful place? Thats what a lot of people have told me. They didn't say it was okay, obviously that sex is between a man and woman

  • @ChRoPi21 When it comes to a Christian, I cannot honestly say how you can masturbate to the glory of God (as we are to do all things to the glory of God)...OR...to be walking in the Spirit and masturbating. You are certain to be walking in the flesh when masturbating and that would not be considered good.

  • @ChRoPi21 Additionally, Romans 8 says we battle sin by the Spirit...not by masturbation among other devices. This is not much different than taking a pill to keep you from sinning.

  • What don't you like about being a Christian?

  • Also theist77, I've noticed many comments I have left on your videos have been removed. I have never written anything profane or very cross here. Why have you removed them? If you honestly want to dialogue with atheists then why remove the dialogue when the comments themselves do not cross the line?

  • @vadimcream I remove comments of folks but I do not recall removing your comments. Usually if I remove comments, I block the person at the same time. This will happen due to a person trolling, being inappropriate, or continually being irrational and ridiculous. I deal with a lot of traffic - once again, I do not know of any comments of yours that I have removed.

  • @theist77

Thanks for clarifying. Perhaps you've found my comments to be "irrational and ridiculous" then. I understand removing comments for the other specified reasons, but maybe you should give further thought to removing comments you think to be ridiculous, as if they truly are then your viewers can easily discern for themselves whether or not they believe that to be the case.

  • This does practically nothing to justify the inanity of god's supposed detestment of certain sexual acts. In the case of homosexuality and masturbation I can not see any reason to view these as harmful acts other than that your ficticious book says so. That kind of circular reasoning is not convincing to me in the slightest. Also, Yahweh certainly allows for a very lax penalty for a horrible act such as rape. According to the OT rapists get off easier than homosexuals. Great god you have there.

  • As my granpapa always used to say, "it's definitely super, not to do men in da pooper!".... God freaking bless!

  • Continue speak the truth of God. God Bless you and keep you allways:-)

  • Good video!

  • A tough one to discuss, but it is definitively necessary. I Know the things we men brag about behind close doors. Before I was Christian we bragged about how many times a day we would masturbate and have sex. Then after I became a christian it was how long you could go with out masturbation or having sex. I went 2 months o yea I went 6 months. Well top this I got married I don't have to worry about it no more :P.Thats the way that would go.
