if modern metal was going to go mainstream this is what it would sound like. it would be nice if some metal influence browk it's way into mainstream. it would make a lot of songs out there more tolerable for me not that i only like metal but i think you get what i'm saying
@52matt85 lol well aren't you just a fuckin' tough guy. But don't worry I'm not upset with your comment because I've seen some of your other comments too. You're just a useless piece of shit and a wasted sperm.
dudeee u ROCK!!!!!!! u madee thiss song into a better version!! and pllllllllllllllllllz can u tab this soong for me?!! cuz i can't find any good one !! xD and thxxx!! :))
@UnderworldsMostHated Hey dumbass!!!!!!!!!! Most modern Metal has roots in country music.....Why do you think so many Heavy Metal artist where black like John Cash, why do you think Pantera wove the Confederate Flag like Hank Williams Jr.......You don't know much about metal do you.
@fearlessfuryrebel For one, I don't care if lots of hm artists are black or not and I don't listen to Pantera so I wouldn't know a thing about flag waving. Metal is all I listen to and it's just a few select bands. If metal has roots in country music, then good for them. Atleast it ain't rap, which (in my opinion) is the worst
Wrong. Metal owes nearly all of its heritage to blues rock and, from the NWOBHM onwards, punk. The black was to look "dark", and Pantera did stuff like that to promote their "southern" image. It's nothing to do with country.
@Mortal0121 Correction Early Metal was Blues inspired, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, and Rainbow, but alot of New Wave like Motorhead, Iron Maiden, and Judas Priest has an outlaw country influnce...The Speed of the New Wave guitar style is inspired by the picking of blue grass....Thats why there are alot of Country Artist covering metal from that era, because it's so dam easy to change to country....I know Iron Man is blues, influence but Ace Of Spades even the name and lyrics are outlaw country.
@fearlessfuryrebel And if half of what your saying is true explane why there are more Metal covers of Ghost Riders in the sky then Country, and why is it that it's so easy to take just about any Metal Tune written after the 1980's new wave into Country, and no where as easy to blues..... Grew up on both Blues and Country, I know what I'm talking about.....Depending on the style there's a 50/50 chance the song is more country influnced. And Most thrash has Country Roots.
The speed of the NWOBHM came from punk, not bluegrass. With Motorhead, again, correlation does NOT imply causation. You say that "most thrash has country roots", but I ask you, where's the country in bands like Destruction?
Metal and country are completely unrelated, I assure you. I understand you're a fan of country and bluegrass and all (hell, so am I to an extent), but you need to get your facts straight before you go saying that metal owes itself to country. It doesn't.
@Mortal0121 I just have to laugh at how you think Punk is the heritage of Metal....Even the term Heavy Metal predates Punk Rock......The only thing you have is that Punk Rocker embraised the term Punk before Heavy Metal....the first artist to embrass Punk that I know of is the Ramones which are mid late 70s where as the first artist to embrass the term Heavy Metal, Judas Priest, came out late 70s early 80s....However Metal, and Punk them selves where born about the same time.
@Mortal0121 You just hate country music and people like you are equally guilty of ruening music as much as the Jonas Brothers, and Justin Bieber......Just because you don't sale out don't mean you don't SUCK.....And even if what your saying is true Punk has roots in Country and Blue Grass. 3 chords, over lapped instreumentles, sounds alot like country to me......And Country is alot like Metal itself...It has roots in Bluegrass, Cajun Zydico, and Western.
@Mortal0121 And finally if you try to bring any other style of rock that is the roots of Heavy Metal chances are its going to be Psycadellic, Jam Band, and Southern Rock, all of which have a compination of Blues, and Country Roots.....Most Rock N Roll has a compination of Blues and Country influnce........Thats how, rock came to be in the first place.... Elvis got his start at the Heyride Radio show(In Shreveport, LA) with Hank Williams Sr., and after a gig in Memphis he noticed the blues.
@Mortal0121 and from that he decided to combined his Country, with the black mans Blues, thus creating Rock N Roll.... Anyway you put it it's still going to boil down to Blues and Country.....It's that simple....There wouldn't be rock n roll with out Country, and it pisses me off that ass holes like you keep snubbing Country and giving full credit to Blues.....They Both had hands in the birth of rock, and thats it.
I am saying the speed of the NWOBHM had a lot to do with punk (It's also worth noting that thrash and hardcore are very closely linked). Before that, metal had nothing to do with punk.
I already told you, I am not a country hater. Talking to you is getting to be a real headache since you can't seem to comprehend that correlation does not imply causation.
We could go ever further and say that nearly all western music as we know it owes itself to folk.
i think this us soo much better than the original song and needs more views and likes (like it now if your reading this :P) and anywhere you can get tabs for this??
dude, this is freaking awesome, and yes the same question as TheBigDumper, how did you record the guitar, cause when I plug mine into the computer it sounds a bit like shit
@kirezar you need a usb or firewire audio interface with jack inputs, then you need a decent programme with a guitar amp plug in. I think most people use the line 6 pod which is easy to use and sounds pretty descent.
Ah. alright i gotchya. Yea there seem like a lot of other better programs better than Garageband. Ive got one last question for ya. hah. What wire or w/e is it that you used to record/plug your guitar into your comp? and whats the cost for it?? Great quality
@TheBigDumper I use a usb audio interface from m-audio which cost about £400 new. But the thing about using it is that you have to have the right software as well, I use pro tools m-powered which is about £150 and then the guitar amp plug in is around £100. I'm guessing coz you have garageband you have a mac? In which case you need logic and any usb audio interface or sound card.
Dude. That was really well done. Do something about getting this thing published or thrown out to Taylors website! People dig this thing! Really awesome job man. Mad props my dude!
