This is the perfect pop single. Bolan was the master of the simple 3-minute song. Ride A White Swan stands the test of time. He was riding a wave of inspiration at the time that sadly ebbed away a year or two later. At his best though, he had no peers. His output in the late 60's was of a truly great quality.

Wasn't silly. Gloria had flown in from the US, she was very tired and then they went out , ate and drank and she should not have been driving. Marc's chauffer offered to drive them and Marc said he was in good hands...evidently not. Accident, yes, silly, no!
