What is far superior about the Seecamp over the NAA Guardian? I have two Guardians 32 and 380 but never owned a Seecamp. The Guardians have the same lockwork as a Seecamp according to the diagrams I have seen,so how are they internally different? YOU TELL ME!!!!
@PrepperJr Quality control at Keltec is not good just read all the negative feedback on the web. My PF9 right out of the box had an extractor that hit the back of the barrel during lockup, and caused a jamming issue. I filed metal off the extractor to make it shorter and it ran 100% afterwards. This problem should have never left the Keltec factory.
I can't see how the Seecamp is any better than a Guardian as far as quality of the build. The Guardian is one heck of a sturdy build thats why it is like two ounces heavier than the Seecamp. Seecamp is polished more and thats the only difference that I can see.
@TheYankeeMarshal The Seecamp and Guardians have the same internal lockwork. The Seecamps fit and finish and polish are a little better over the Guardians but thats all. The Guardians have a little more metal all the way around which equates to a stronger build. The factory price is about the same for both guns in 32ACP so that speaks for itself. The Guardians blow smoke rings around the TCP and other similar polymer lightweight guns, just read all the negative web feedback.
Like your reviews. A mouse gun for close to 8 bills or more that it is essential to have a first aid kit to shoot? Not my cup of tea; and yes I got matching finger damage. Rorhbaughs might even be better made but approximate $350 more than a Seecamp, just insane to me. MPA380's are a universe less expensive, better made than all the other mousys, save for possibly the above mentioned, and most accurate in my hands. The only abuse I will accept from a weapon is Browning H.P. hammer bite! Cheers!
Love my LWS 32, but man does it do a number on the trigger finger! I have to tape it up before I shoot. But it's probably the last pocket pistol I buy. Very well built and elegant. Thinking of getting the mag extension when they come in stock.
Save yourself $300+ and get a better gun, the MPA Protector. It's made from solid block of steel and unlike the seecamp, it can handle many types of ammo.
@hopeechangee really? you mean the gun that literally comes apart inside if you pull the trigger with the mag out LMAO....oh and speaking of triggers how is that 35lbs trigger pull on your MPA treating you .......
@TheYankeeMarshal Nice. I would love to order a custom serial, I didn't even know that was possible. If you could pm me who I would need to talk to or whatever it'd be awesome. Great review btw
@TheZookeeper44 Sort of...I drew the image out on a computer and then had a friend laser etch it onto the grips. Then I painted it in with enamel paint.
Awesome review! I like your talking points and your very detailed overview. I just picked up an NAA 32acp and can't wait to see the quality going up to a SEECAMP! Great Review!
It is indeed beautifully finished just like the .32 version. But it kicks like a mule and will hurt you. Two magazines full at the range and you will probably want to put it down.
The waiting list from the factory is up to 2 years. Mine took 18months and just received it 2 weeks ago. Dealers on Gun Broker are asking 2 to 3 hundred dollars over the $795.list. Beautifully engineered, manufactured and finished but mean on the shooting hand. It is a lot different than the .32 Seecamp and the jury is still out as to which one I will carry.
@FireArmsResQ it did not take much talent. I just drew the logo out on a friend's computer who has a laser engraver. Then he burnt it onto the grips for me and I just painted them in with model paint.
What's the measurements of the magazine? Width, height, and thickness? I wanted to have a custom made wallet sized box (5.8" x 3.3" x 0.9") for the magazines before I purchase one. How many do you think would fit on the specified measurements above? I e-mailed the seecamp website but there was no response.
The mag is 1 inch (width) you mean? What do you mean by 5x 3 inches counting the baseplate?
10 mags with the specified size? But the thickness of the box is only 0.9 inches. How thick is the magazine? Because I wouldn't want it to be too tight in the box, making it hard to pull the mags out.
P.S.
The dimensions are 5.8 inches (height) x 3.3 inches (width) x 0.9 inch (thickness)
By deep, you mean thickness (not width)? Anyways, how many would fit with the size I mentioned without making it too tight? It's only 0.9 inch after all.
When you safety check a gun please do not check the chamber and then drop the mag to check that. I had my one and only AD doing that. Racked the slide, saw nothing in the chamber, did not notice the bullet in the mag as I thought it was empty ,dropped the mag which was now actually empty because the round was chambered after I released the slide after checking the chamber. Pulled the trigger and bang. Luckily I had it pointed in a safe direction. Please warn newbies not to do it the way you show

@itouchnj That sucks that you had that negligent discharge. You do realize that if you rack the slide and check the chamber you can see the top of the mag, correct? You also do realize that this was not the first safety check I did on the gun before the video. I safety checked it multiple times off camera before doingthe one with the camera roling.
@gnabeanmd I have never had a single failure with either as far as iI recall. I did accidently load .25 ammo into the LWS32 once by mistake...but that does not count. :)
@killoran By the time I do the check on the video I have already done multiple checks. You can check a gun with the mag in it. In fact you can see the follower in the mag when doing the check. If you can see the follwer it is obviously empty.
Cool, man. I've read about these but haven't seen one in person still. And knowing you've owned, what, 90 different handguns? Makes me want to get my hands on one & try it out. That pattern at 20' is craazy :)

@stretchstring Then you must either have never owned both or else you don't have a great deal of gunsmithing experience. The Seecamp is far superior.

I don't know how much you paid for your Seecamp .380 but it should sell for $700 and some scalpers on Gunbroker want over $1000. Too Mucho Moolah.
