@RayTrue04 Have you seen Advent Children? It shows Materia implanted into Kadaj's arm, even though Kadaj wields a sword. So while Materia can be placed in your weapon or accessory (i.e. a bangle), according to AC and AC: Complete, it also goes into your body just as easily.

I like all the videos I've seen of Dead Fantasy except this one. It's so ridiculous, it is simply baffling. I could go on forever (and fill up all the comments) with why Hasumi should have lost but I'll leave it alone just because it isn't canon and is fanmade. This is Monty Oum's fanstory after all but if this actually appeared in some canon event...

@blacksilver900 That's the whole point of Helena releasing them. Only Helena knew they were going to die in the alloted time, and Helena hates the clones herself. All we know so far is that she released the clones, not that she released them to fight with Kasumi against Yuna. And of course she'd be dead, but it was the risk she was willing to take. Was it foolish of Yuna to try and stand off on her own as well? Both Yuna and Kasumi essentially did the same thing.

Kasumi knows where her heart lies in battles. @blacksilver900 yuna has always had the ability to summon, her debut in FF was as a summoner, so part of your argument makes no sense, she was willing to fight the same way she had in the 1st 2 til all those clones showed up, and quite a lot of the clones did die, you can see some of them go down, either way , yuna only went summon crazy because it was necessary to survive, she fought kasumi quite fairly til the clones

I'm not gonna be biased and say that Tifa could've kicked Hitomi's ass 5 ways from sunday (Which may or may not be true...you never know) But it was a really good fight regardless. Interesting as well.

@blacksilver900 For 4 and 5 keep in mind Hayate annd Kasumi are comparable to Ryu in strength they have all taken down these monster fighters and have each won once never mind the fact Ryu deals with enemies similar to FF by him self and its assumed they could as well.Kasumi's clones multiplied that and turned all that ability into near suicidal soldiers not hard to believe they were winning there ether.Tifa nearly dead by the time 5 showed up i shouldn't have to explain that one

Also,I've been looking up info on the materias used by Tifa and can tell you one thing:Tifa was holding back.All they ff girls,beside kairi,were holding back.Yuna could've summoned in part 1&2,but didn't.Rikku had her machina maw,but chose not to call it.Tifa had powerful spells in her possesion and didn't even use 'em.
watching this is awesome, Hitomi and Tifa's fight was between age and whowas fighting longer Hitomi did better cuza of age than anything but Tifa was better cuza she was doing the fighting longer but in the end Hitomi won but Tifa is still awesome when it comes to fighting. :)

@darthzader no i was saying Tifa didnt take anyone out.Tifa was on her last legs by the end of this fight while Hitomi was in much better shape(before the ninjas).the weapons in the 5th one actually helped her more hurt,she couldn't fight another prolonged fight against a fresh opponent but the weapons allowed her to take their stamina out of the equation.if they didnt use them chances are she would have still lost and they all would have survived.of course this is purely speculation
The best thing about this episode is that hitomi kicked more ass blind then she did when se could see. Also she used black stars big wave move from soul eater
@grapejuice63754 I disagree. The fight could have gone either way, although I prefer Tifa over Hitomi. In FF VII, Tifa is a martial artist in her own right. I think this fight did her a little injustice by making it look like she depended on her materia to fight with. Still awesome though. Oh, and Tifa didn't need 50 ninjas to help take out her opponent! Just sayin'. >.> lol
I just think the materia got blown out of her according to how severe the damage dealt was. That snapped spine would've killed anyone else; I think Tifa got off easy with losing all her materia, especially since she can still move and fight.
Hitomi's great, everyone is either a ninja, a supernatural chic or weilding some big ass weapon. Theres the karate expert, hitomi using nothing but her fists and still kicking butt.
@Ariadalf they are called materia, normally in the game you equip them to your party allowing you to cast fire, ice, poison, etc. spells, as well as haste, and lets you summon the Bahamut(though for Yuna, thats not the case when she summons them in 04). In Final Fantasy 10, Yuna is the summoner(and white mage) in your party, storywise her pilgrimage as a summoner is to go from temple to temple to get the strength of the aeons(summons) and to train to get the final aeon, hope that helps

I think its right that Hitomi won, it seems as though the FF characters work really well as a team(makes sense from RPG) and the DoA characters are better at 1v1(from fighters).
Materia did win this fight.Hitomi used it to increase her speed.It was having her materia quickly removed from her body that messed tifa up.Suddenly having your stats rise and fall like that....So i do agree with that other user.If doa fans can come up with theories,so can ff fans.

@psylocke77 I must contest your reasoning. The materia only enhanced her fighting abilities much like Kasumi's teleports. While it's a big part of their arsenals, it is not what their fighting skills are measured by. But all in all, I just prefer Tifa over Hitomi! lol They are both awesome! Also,I've been looking up info on the materias used by Tifa and can tell you one thing:Tifa was holding back.All they ff girls,beside kairi,were holding back.Yuna could've summoned in part 1&2,but didn't.Rikku had her machina maw,but chose not to call it.Tifa had powerful spells in her possesion and didn't even use 'em.

@darthzader no i was saying Tifa didnt take anyone out.Tifa was on her last legs by the end of this fight while Hitomi was in much better shape(before the ninjas).the weapons in the 5th one actually helped her more hurt,she couldn't fight another prolonged fight against a fresh opponent but the weapons allowed her to take their stamina out of the equation.if they didnt use them chances are she would have still lost and they all would have survived.of course this is purely speculation

@grapejuice63754 I disagree. The fight could have gone either way, although I prefer Tifa over Hitomi. In FF VII, Tifa is a martial artist in her own right. I think this fight did her a little injustice by making it look like she depended on her materia to fight with. Still awesome though. Oh, and Tifa didn't need 50 ninjas to help take out her opponent! Just sayin'. >.> lol

@Ariadalf they are called materia, normally in the game you equip them to your party allowing you to cast fire, ice, poison, etc. spells, as well as haste, and lets you summon the Bahamut(though for Yuna, thats not the case when she summons them in 04). In Final Fantasy 10, Yuna is the summoner(and white mage) in your party, storywise her pilgrimage as a summoner is to go from temple to temple to get the strength of the aeons(summons) and to train to get the final aeon, hope that helps

Materia did win this fight.Hitomi used it to increase her speed.It was having her materia quickly removed from her body that messed tifa up.Suddenly having your stats rise and fall like that....So i do agree with that other user.If doa fans can come up with theories,so can ff fans.
