And also I always found that the "Deep were the crashing waves that tore our whaler's mast away. And dark are these sunless days, waiting for the ice to break" was the most beautiful part of the song, which is a shame because in this recording it sounds like the seconds and alto's aren't even singing their part, and the firsts are much too quiet. But that's just my opinion! :)
intersting. My choir sings it acapella. Personally, i think it's better that way, but the music is quite good with it. Ive always wondered how it would sound with accompaniment.
