  • reminds me a lot of a young white shep bitch i myself met reciently really pretty animal

  • this dog looks more like a Berger Blanc Suisse than a German Shepherd...

  • legs are to short..and there is no proportion beetwin the short

    legs to the body

  • oohh! indy is so cute, so beautiful!

  • where did you buy your showlead at???

  • ya know its that exsact show pose stand that is the reason for bad breeding a hip dysplacia. breeders bred them to have shallow hips to acheive that stand easyer and in turn doomed many sheperds to a life of pain and misery for what... a fucking ribbon and certificate

  • Beautiful!

  • that's a beautiful dog ! this is how a German shepherd should look and trott not like those deformed dog's that the show breeder's are producing with the black and tan coloured dog's for the sake of the breed we can't let this happen to the white and the black coloured dog''s !

  • @TheInsomniac247 Yep they have alot to answer for breeding those roach back "GSDs" with sickle hocks ect. Although there are still some good coloured shepherds in the 'All Breeds' ring :)

If you want to see a good coloured shepherd ask for 'old style' GSDs. I don't breed for the ring but they are the 'normal' straight backed sheps :)

  • @gsdfan1313 Yeah I agree the show line breeders have ruined this beautiful breed...the show line dogs are nothing but a poor imitation of what is arguably the greatest breed!

I've seen many Old fashioned GSD :)....I've owned 6 of them over the years...I'm currently on my 7th GSD(who is from German lines) now :)

  • i own 6 german shepherds, for dog sledding, 2 are white, and 3 are sable and black, the other one is a bright tan and black.

i was showing my white one, but i couldnt go far because of AKC. before, they didn't allow white gsd to perform or compete because they did'nt consider it as a real german sheperd (so judgey!).

  • what kind of shepherd is this?(swiss or german)?

  • wish my ac shepherd was that white, nice vid

  • 1:22 GORGEOUS!!

  • Actually, lifting the dogs front creates better front angulation when stacked. Also like you said alining them yourself is okay. But picking up is more efficient.

  • Just practice your stacking always start from front and never have your body covering the dog!

  • Beautiful dog. As for the White Sheperd, you gotta remember that this dog is in Australia, not America.

  • I do think that the handler could have done a better job of showing the dog. While white may be a disqualification in AKC, it is not disquailified in UKC. The white GSD has its own class. I have a white GSD my self, along with a black and tan, and black and red. I don't show the white as she is very hyper! and she is spayed. I do show the black and red though. I have friends that show their whites and do very well! They are as awesome to watch in the ring as the others are!

  • Hey Neige! I saw your vid when they gave birth, cute puppies, nice vid, is this before Indy and Kayne or whatever his name was got their babies?

  • I wouldn't mind th dog as a pet but it wouldn't last 2 seconds in the AKC show ring (literaly!) White is a disqulification in the breed. the handler show find some conformation classes to attend to learn the proper way to stack a gsd. the major flaw where 1. you NEVER pick up a GSD (wich he did pick up the dogs front...) simply take a step and have the dog aline them or pick up each leg and aline them yourself!.

  • NEVER? is this a NEW rule under SV sanctioned shows? or only in AKC? do you have sieger or landesgruppen rated GSD's?

  • no offence but the handler sucks! and white is agenst the breed standards...

  • Only in colour... some whites are better conformational wise than coloured counterparts. Dont be fooled by coat colour!

  • nice work

  • omg what a beauty

  • nice dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • absoloutely gorgeous dog. she puts all those people against white shepherds to shame! and whoever said a gsd couldn't have a nice trot without a horribly angular, sloping back?

  • Your dog is magnificent.. Beautiful, words can't describe it.

  • Great video, Its a shame that the british kennel club automaticaly disqualify White GSDs from competition as they are non breed standard...I think its because they are scared that they will always win!! I have a 2 year old and I take him to shows and he always turns heads...colour predudism is alive in the kennel club!

  • Hey, Loki's sister here. Geez, Indy looks good, really white. You did a good job keeping the camera steady while spinning!

  • awesoem dog!! wut does tricky 3 stack mean??

  • 3 point stack is the way you stand a german shepherd for their "show pose"

  • Bel animal. Il semble bien écouter :)

  • Indy is some girl...just look at that intelligent expression, right into the camera at the 1:00 mark!!!

Good luck with her...in Australia, right?

  • Thanks so much SteinbaumGSD! Yep - we are in Australia!
