  • THAT'S why pilots kick ass! That's gotta be a nail biter for the crew. Passengers usually can't even tell it's happening, except for the hard touchdown. Been in a few. Cool to see the wings flex.

Keep hands ready for full throttle!

  • Why not make pivoting landing gear that turn in the direction of the runway a standard safety feature? Its old technology, I recall seeing it on the B-52's, it may be even older than that, I cant imagine this is not a risk to the tyres blowing out, maybe not the first time but repetitive cross wind landings and overlooked "cost effective" maintenance its bound to be common.

  • @aPatheticLife4sho Yes,it's a B757 AA landing in toncontin airport Tegucigalpa (Honduras)

  • Woah, was that almost a tail strike at 3:27?

  • lose the gay fucking music

  • The first clip, he never landed. That was taken at Ontario International. He tried twice to land there in the notorious Santa Anas. After two failed attempts he said screw it and went to LAX.

  • 4:07... seriously?

  • This is screwed music.

  • i dun know how i gonna scream at 1:50 lol

  • Haha, at 00:45 its like "i am watching you!"

  • air drifting :D

  • pretty amazing!

  • really enjoyed the music. Well done.

  • 1:07 terrorist training

  • thanks

  • plenty of rudder after touchdown.

  • It's like jet powered drifting

  • Better to watch here, than on-board :)

  • Good music bro :)

  • Fantastic flying, wow.I don't care where there're from, mastering the plane and the elements.

  • Mr. Scott Seel-Davies, I like the music on this video, congrats buddy and please tell me... where can I listen more of this? :-) Cheers from Spain

  • great compilation, amazing pilots and very cool music - thank you!

  • The plane @1:31 cracked me up.

  • ooh I like this music it reminds me of burnout 2

  • wow the music and video was beautiful and those captains are the best....

  • ANy one know what the plane at :37 now what is hanging on to the tail of the plane on the top?

  • @collinsworth1982

i was wondering that - the plane looks like a boeing "factory demo" model - i thought maybe it was some banner flag for the demo event

  • @livegoodwin yea that would make sence...seems like though someone would had noticed that before it took off and say hey someone get that off. Doubt it would hurt anything but lets not take the chance...lol

  • @collinsworth1982 - This is a test flight for aircraft certification. They are testing the "side loading" capabilities of the plane. Notice how the pilot lands sideways (on purpose). The thing on the tail is a small chute on a rope to show the angle between the relative wind and the aircraft

  • Best crosswind landings? The 1st plane doesn't land!

    Rick-rolled?

  • Those 777's look really good in that livery. Sort of brings out the design features. What airline is that?

  • Hey can I use this music? Check out my vids, I use creative commons background music and this is great stuff!

  • And that's how I learned what "TOGA" stood for.

  • I have been on heavy crosswind and its not feeling difrend than calm wind landing online when whats fromwindow

  • Found this on Gizmodo (via KFI-AM Los Angeles) ... awesome video, and is this music track on your MySpace site??

  • Fantastic music dude :D

  • These planes look like power rangers.

  • the music is gay. it made me turn it off at :02

  • Has anyone ever flew into Detroit City Airport (KDET)? That was always a crosswind landing, and extreme! The runway is barely long enough for a 737 (5k ft, or so) One time I was sitting by a window over a wing and as we were landing, we were so sideways that I could look down the center of the runway from my seat! Now THAT"S crosswind buddy. I don't think they have jet service to KDET anymore, but it was always interesting!

  • @0Heavy0Metal0 lol bet you were a tad nervous. glad you made it.

  • @sunlogosis Thanks, me too! On the return trip, when we were decending into Indy, the pilot came on and said that the nose gear locked light was not illuminating, and we were going to fly by the tower so they could look at the nose gear with binoclulars and verify it was down. It was, and we landed ok. But talk about a rough couple of flights!

  • @0Heavy0Metal0 geezuz h!! remind me never to fly with you. haha

  • @sunlogosis Oh, it doesn't end there. I have the worst luck when traveling by air. I was on a small commuter flight three years ago. The elderly lady next to me was asleep (I thought) when I began to smell something aweful. Well, when you pass away, I guess your muscles down below relax, and things, uhh...free-flow. I got up and informed the flight crew (no attendant) and had to sit next to a dead woman with full shorts until we landed. I was woozey as hell when I got off the plane.

  • wtf!!!!??

  • The music ruins an otherwise descent video

  • Pilotos despreparados que aprenderam pilotar avião na asa delta.

  • Good job !

  • THE TRILLER

  • some of them didn't land so There are not the best crosswind landings ever!! Therefore Dislike ..

  • I like that music.

  • Crosswind drifting! Awesome vid

  • oh shit ..just went through your uploads and spotted that tunisair "aborted take off"! it wasn't !! cant beleive it was a bad landing only !!

  • Comment removed

  • being a son of a pilot and a musician myself....well...this video was like ectasy for me !! i get your 303 in your nickname (roland tb303???). nice vid, nice music! p.s.: the one on 3:27 was an aborted take off wasn'it?

  • as an aviation fanatic i have ofcourse seen a lot of these vids already so the video itself was good but not so special but.....DUUDDEE! Your music is fucking amazing!! So that really made this vid fantastic!

  • If you can see the right side of the plane while standing of the left side of the runway, you definitely can say there is a hard crosswind^^

  • Not to f with your jello but it's "PLANE" not "plain" and the rest of your post is dumber than a box of rocks. Have a day and "know" you are not in the top of the gene pool.

  • @Lisztman88 OOOOOOHHHHH Bad arse pilots! Even Bad ass pilots. Badass pilots - I thought he was talking about some country! Badass, hmm where is that???

  • i remember landing in Glasgow very windy very scary

  • when I read "I also created the music for this video" I was thinking "I'm going to have to mute this one". Happily I was wrong

  • @MamiyaOtaru

Thanks! Yeah usually homemade music is generally pretty bad..... lol....

  • @MamiyaOtaru cool music!

  • @MamiyaOtaru i did mute it it sucks the music and the video> BOOO who the fuck cares about planes lol

  • they are yawing into the wind right?

  • VERY nice compilation. Thank you! And the percussion doesn't hurt, either.

  • Yes they are landing a plane sideways!

  • and i thought this would be to the tune of 009 sound system like the rest of the shitty videos in this site.

  • that was awesome. i've flown countless times as a passenger but in all that time only seen a few landings from the outside... had no idea people could even do that!

  • 5 pilots didnt allow for the cross wind

  • crosswind landings keep the fun in flying the aircraft. Most of today's tradition aircraft do everything for you except land and of course the airlines have taken care of some of that with the right conditions. You want to put some pucker factor back in the seat, try a final with a 12 knot crosswind at 45 degrees to the runway. If your butt doesn't eat some of the seat, then you are a Zombie.

  • What plane is at 1:20? Thanks

  • @judgeabdoul 777

  • @judgeabdoul

Sorry for the late reply but the aircraft at 1:20 is the Boeing 777-100 performing it's crosswind min/max testing in hot and high conditions.

  • @patton303 777-100?

  • @patton303

Actually is a Boeing 777-200. Boeing never made a -100 series.

  • Nice. Check this landing watch?v=bRzLpBTa39k

  • Big deal, I mean... Birds with brains the size of a peanut do it everyday, so what? Now, the drumming was mighty fine, good job! ;)

  • @Virakotxa

    Haha... thanks bro...

  • @Virakotxa they also don't weigh tons, are not required to land on an airstrip, and cant destroy anything they hit.

  • @WCGwkf , good point... But with the energy one of those burns on a single take-off an albatross could fly around the Earth from now to the end of times. And now that I think of it... Destroying stuff on impact might not be that much of a "pro", don't you think?

  • @Virakotxa yeh but theyre not packed with 57000 gallons of kerosene and 60 innocent lives and plus there too dumb to care about there or anybody elses life....something like this would put a lot of stress, preassure and panic on a pilot...thats where the kudos goes!!!

  • @Dubbed2Death , yeah... They'd just perch to a different tree without much stress. Some, packing eggs... or with little ones waiting at the nest. KUDOS to all who fly and/or play drums.

  • @Virakotxa Are we birds....?

  • @tlcooper93 Can't talk for both without further examination... You could be an uncommonly talented seagull with too much access to internet... But I'm sure we're not plains. No plain has ever been gifted enough to type Youtube responses...

  • @Virakotxa Would you mind explaining what a "plain" is. I wonder if it's anything like a plane.

  • @tlcooper93 Both have to do with flatness... But yeah, you got me. That's what you get for teaching impertinent seagulls English... Mind that you don't lavish your gifts upon the ungrateful. I'm at a higher plane as to explain this subjects to a plain bird.

  • @tlcooper93 , Chirping out loud... Have some tar.

  • @Virakotxa Nice!! I never knew birds could maneuver 100 tons of steel!

  • @brunstad , No, but it's outstanding what a well placed bird can do to a 100 tons of steel when they move too fast into each other... K, it often ends on just a splat, but you won't see too birds crashing into each other on mid air... that is because they do have some real maneuverability.

  • @Virakotxa Yeah, but the fucking bird doesn't do it with something that weighs as much as your house with 100 people (including your mother, wife and daughter) onboard!

  • @spahjrp I'd be scared if the plain assigns me a wife and daughter... But wouldn't be needed... because if a plain had the mad-building skills of a bird it could build itself a new house wherever it went using available resources. And often do so carrying a city-sized population of tics, fleas and other parasites... with siblings. As it stands, you have to feed your plain with massive amounts of fossil food you can't grow, and titan-sized infrastructures so it can even land.

  • @Virakotxa birds use a completely different method of flight though they still have wings, they are more comparable to rotary aircraft. (not in gliding but in propulsion.)

  • with planes this big the landing gear is actually directed towards the runway while the aircraft is crabbing down to the runway so the passengers can stay comfortable instead of side slipping down.

  • Cool and interesting video, although I do have a different opinion. The video should be called the worst crosswind landings ever caught on video. A good pilot makes a crosswind landing look like a normal landing and does not slam the plane on the ground sideways.

  • cool vid; great music too.

  • I miss flying............

  • Great vid dude. I luv planes too! if you do the music for this, you are a so talented . I saw ur killer drumming videos which is why Im here.

  • @AstroMayan can u plz give the link of that video.. i'd love to see

  • 1:08 to 1:22...Now THAT is skill....

  • Its just amazing! Aviation is too my pasion I love Airplanes!

  • lol 3,333 views

  • LOl!! at 3:31 it looks like theres a flying saucer infront of the nose of the plane xD

  • The music was FANTASTIC & So were the pilots...

  • wow where was the last one taken with american airlines?

  • Well done, impressive music :P Got me to bob my head along.

  • Thanks! I actually play music for a living, but aviation is my passion. ;7

  • what is causing that

  • skilled pilots indeed

  • This kiks ass

I luvs me some planes lol
