I have been sick for 3 1/2 years now, I struggle between Pain & Pills It has over taken my life. I havent seeked Gods help bc I have felt that the distance between He & I was So great that I couldnt but tonight as I sat here listening to your Tesimony something broke inside me, he revealed to me that he has Never left,That it is time to let go,Forgive myself, Forgive Others,Believe in him as I did 30yrs ago when I heard that same Powerful message. After 7 months off klonopin, a seven week episode of terror and pain that kept me without sleep for 7 weeks, all but two days, I felt like I was condemnetd to hell forever (off meds totally for 7 months) and what felt like pain of death, I reinstated, and am now fighting my seccond battle to get off klonopin...long term use typically causes protracted acute wd....with symptoms I cold never put in words...it's a war. Many failed attempts doesn't mean loss...as you know all too well bro Vinnie

Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement. God is delivering me still. Sometimes, deliverance is a long process, not instant. I have reduced my dose from 4mg/day to less than 1.25 mg and I might die because of this but at least I know where I am going. For those of you who think I was not saved because of false diagnosis, malpractice, (accidental addiction) I got saved 15 years ago. People are too quick to judge by outwards w/o knowing the full story.

I praise God for His infinite mercy, love and grace in Christ through Whom we receive eternal life. Thank you for sharing God's glorious grace with John (and us), dear brother. Yours is a blessed and deeply moving testimony.

I still remember the time I spoke to a homeless man who was addicted to alcohol.

I always talked with him on the street and one day I shared the gospel of the Lord Jesus with him and told him that the best thing to do is to give his life to Christ so He can forgive his sinns.

I was so happy I shared the gospel with him because a few weeks later he was killed. But I'm almost sure he is in heaven too.

Wow Vinnie, what a testamony. It really touched my heart as I can hear your passion for Christ in this.

You don't know it but the Lord delivered me from percocets two years ago. never been a drug user my whole life but the doctor kept giving me more and more percocets to help with my pain and before I knew it, I was addicted to them. I know how God can bring us through such horrible times. God made his presence known every second of my withdrawals.

Brother John you can get through this. I and so many people here on utube can give you testimony of how when we laid our burdens at Jesus feet He took it from us.
