@tiffanymondesir short curly hair can work great with curlers, blow dry with some product in it (it's ok if it's big!), then curlers. I have short curly hair and love using rollers! just don't fight the curls, work with them!

I'm just to slow in putting the rollers into my hair I guess, they cool down very fast. Do you think it's better to use them with completely dry hair or damp hair ?
Can someone tell me how hot rollers curl your hair? it seems like everyone who uses hot rollers touches them and it doesn't burn them, so it's just a little bit warm? then how does it curl?
@AnotherSimpleOne They are velvet coated so they don't burn your fingers to the touch like a curling iron would. They don't get as hot I think because you leave them in until they cool down, if you did the same with a hot curling iron and left it in for as long, your hair would burn off. But they still work with heat they are just more gentle, I think.

For people who have lots of layers try to section off your layers in equal lengths so you dont get nasty edges on the ends of your curls (live and learn on that process.) I hate when the ends dont roll well. Because then you have to bust out that curling iron omg...ok I felt my blood pressure jump!!! Rofl ok...didnt mean to vent I guess I curl my hair so often that I have some pent up curling frustrations LOL:) Over all nice video thanks for your tips :)
Can you do a look for an anniversary? It looks like I'll be going to my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary out of town but I don't know what makeup to wear. I want to wear something classy but kind of more neutral as I'm used to colors. It would be greatly appreciated especially if you could use drugstore makeup if possible.

Just a little tip.....I have quite straight hair, and to keep the curls in I spray 'setting lotion' on each section of hair before I put each roller in , then once they are all in spray again all over and let them really go cold . The hair is a little 'crispy' when you take the rollers out BUT once you have teased the hair with some product and got your style , the curls stay in all day. Works for me !!

i have no knowledge of hot curlers. i saw a style guru did the bottom section of her hair first and i've been doing that. i'm not sure if its just a preference but i will try the top part first next time i curl my hair xD

For people who have lots of layers try to section off your layers in equal lengths so you dont get nasty edges on the ends of your curls (live and learn on that process.) I hate when the ends dont roll well. Because then you have to bust out that curling iron omg...ok I felt my blood pressure jump!!! Rofl ok...didnt mean to vent I guess I curl my hair so often that I have some pent up curling frustrations LOL:) Over all nice video thanks for your tips :)

Can you do a look for an anniversary? It looks like I'll be going to my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary out of town but I don't know what makeup to wear. I want to wear something classy but kind of more neutral as I'm used to colors. It would be greatly appreciated especially if you could use drugstore makeup if possible.

Thanks for doing this video, my husband got me a set of hot rollers for Christmas and I haven't used them a lot. Just cuz I'm not sure how exactly to roll my hair up, now I'll definitely be giving them another chance.

Just a little tip.....I have quite straight hair, and to keep the curls in I spray 'setting lotion' on each section of hair before I put each roller in , then once they are all in spray again all over and let them really go cold . The hair is a little 'crispy' when you take the rollers out BUT once you have teased the hair with some product and got your style , the curls stay in all day. Works for me !!
