Theres no over heating, you just lose power and fall basically. Well there is also a small separate bar thing for the over boost that needs to recharge.

Not all ACs can fly around all day and boost like you see, obviously it depends on how you make your mech. But yeah, there is ALOT more boosting and energy propelling in this game aswell as a new "Quick Boost" that can make it easier to dodge and such.

Its rad how you can use two swords, could you do that in the older games? I cant recall :]

There are parts such as a booster that are designed for 'Sustained Aerial Combat'

There is also an RPG element with stats to AC4. As you complete missions and computer opponents in the simulator (Just like an arena) you recieve memory point things that you use to tune your AC. Things you can tune are generator performance. weapon skills (Such as aim presition and locking speed) stability from landing and hits from guns and firing stability and also PA. PA Is a new thing called Primal Armor.

1) Yes but there are some new properties and tweaks to the game engine that do some wonderful things for gameplay.

2) NORMALS are CLASSIC ACs using what few NORMAL parts remain, mass-produced. Often automated.

3) AC4 is very flight orientated. You can build an AC that can stay permanently in the air if you're careful.

This is the best CG I have EVER seen! This is even beter than the new Halo 3 trailer. Before sombody says "Halo 3 was in game, that's not a fair comparison" you're wron, Halo 3's only in-game was Cheif slinging his rifle on his back, everything else is pre-rendered.
