  • Well, it wasn't as heartbreaking as I thought since they went with GRIND. If they guessed GRIDS, then... yeah.

  • I like it if they bring back the hopper. Just push the button and a ball will come out.

  • This version is good, but it could be better

    1. Have a "toss up". Seven letter word. Letter added every 2 seconds. First to correctly buzz in goes first.

    2. Round 1: 5 puzzles, $200 ($400 for lingo)

    3. Round 2: 5 puzzles, $250 ($500 for lingo)

    4. After round 2, each team has a "bonus lingo" round (90 seconds, $100 per word, no lingo board) to determine final score

  • Two things I've noticed that carried over from Chuck's version to Bill's:

    1. The judges are deaf and like to call it too late, even if the contestants speak up before the buzzer.

    2. The techs burn precious time in Bonus Lingo when they have to look up words.

Why does nobody question judges' calls, and why can't they stop the clock temporarily if the crew needs time to look up a word? How is it the contestant's fault they're not as adept with the English language?

  • @AlphaOmegaAWH are the judge's in this version as tight as Bob Stewart was with "Pyramid"

  • @disneydanny2 I wasn't a Pyramid fan and didn't watch enough to really compare. I wouldn't be surprised, though, seems like there's a lot of room to make judgment calls based on what's said in that game.
