This video has been the best tool I have seen to get an idea of that setting for deshaker but, by any chance, do you know what other settings you used-as far as motion smoothness, max. correction limits, etc? I've gotten some improvement thanks to this video but still having a hard time getting decent results (although my content is a big challenge). Thanks. And thanks for the great video
OK thanks. I think what I'm shooting is just more of a problem than most because I'm shooting from a bike-at night-on NYC streets which I don't think have been maintained for the past 50+ years. Anyay, thanks for the very informative video.
Nice video, can you sugest what format to use to render those temporary intermediate videos from VirtualDub so that they won't loose quality and won't take up 20GB each? thanks in advance.
Totally demonstrates the before/after of the Deshaker filter. Makes it look like you had a professional crew with a dolly for those push-in shots. Really appreciated the different bordering options you presented. Thanks for sharing your editing bay results/tips.
Thank you, it tells a lot..

what program you use to edit this video??

If you "use next/prev frames to fill borders" you could avoid floating black borders AND avoid wild reframing + resampling of "fixed" zoom.

@Armuotas For 1280x720p I make export from Sony Vegas Movie Studio
AVI Xvid codec 8mb bitrate. After deshaker I code in Xvid 6mb bitrate.

@Armuotas I'm sorry, I do not remember. Since 2010 I use stability in Sony Vegas Movie Studio. Easy to use and good results.
Deshaker is much better and has a lot of features, but it is cumbersome to use.

I just have to say thank you again, this is the *only* meaningful and informative "demo" video of Deshaker on all of Youtube.
