A good point my uncle who was actually a meth addict for 10 years made, when he was a kid his older brother (my father) would always drink on the weekends but usually he had a hard time finding someone who was 21 to buy it, my uncle had to make a max of 3 phonecalls to find some bud, my oppinion legalize tax and regulate.

Ask ANY teenager what's easier to get, marijuana (illegal) or alcohol or ciggerettes (legal) and I garantee they will say marijuana. Trust me, I'm a teenager myself.

Why is marijuana easier to get? Because kids are getting it from criminals who care about profits and not customer health, instead of registered dispensaries that regulate and limit who they sell to like alcohol and ciggerettes.

These "harmful substances" are already available to our youth. I am part of the youth, and I know for a fact that I could call at least 10 other kids right now that could set up a deal for a couple of ten-bags. Contrary to marijuana, It's a pain in the ass to get alcohol. Prohibition isn't stopping kids from getting the drugs.

The first mind altering drug i got hooked on was Sugar. And i was only 1 year old! That was my gateway drug to addiction. It will take a lot more than this push you can not beat these A holes at their own game. I just received a reply from my Senator that sited the increase in treatments as a reason why we must maintain prohibition. The number of treatments r only increasing because it is illegal!

Also, the reported "loss of productivity" cited in this interview is mainly due to the "drug-induced incarceration." Meaning that people that r in prison (on drug charges) cannot be "productive." What is so obvious is that the loss of productivity is due to drug prohibition, not the use of drugs.
